You simply cannot compare a metal pedal to a plastic pedal… There’s something about a metal pedal that just will always feel better than a PC pedal, at least for myself personally. Today, Sam over at Tree Bicycle Co. hit us with some photos and info on their new alloy pedals. These pedals start out with an aluminum body with a large concaved platform that is covered in knurling and 10 molded pins built into the body for plenty of grip. Inside you can find unsealed bearings and a solid heat-treated chromoly spindle. All of which creates an affordable, but longer lasting than traditional plastic pedals. The Alloy pedals are available for $25 in black only with a weight of 15.5oz. You can get these by hitting up your favorite shop or online mail-order that carry Tree Bicycle Co. today.

Product: Tree Bicycle Co. – Okan Fork
We caught a sneak peek look at the new Okan fork from Tree Bicycle Co. a few weeks back at Interbike, but it looks like they’re out now! The Okan fork is made from 4130 chromoly and features a 165mm one-piece steerer tube that is CNC machined with radiuses instead of angle cuts to prevent stress cracks in the material, the legs are triple butted with a smaller diameter and thicker tubing for increased strength and the drop outs are large enough to fit the bigger plastic pegs. This for comes with a Tree Headset cap bolt as well. The Okan fork will be available with offsets of 32mm or 25mm and for those front brake lovers out there, Tree will have a 25mm offset version with removable brake mounts available soon as well. The fork weighs in at 31.7 oz. (88g / 32mm), 31 oz. (869g / 25mm) and 32 oz. (898g / 25mm w/ mounts) and comes in black only! You can get a closer look at this fork right here!
