Sneak Peek: Tree Bicycle Co. – Brake Cable
Here’s a sneak peek look at the new Tree Bicycle Co. brake cable that they posted up on their Instagram. It looks like it’s a linear style cable with Kink‘s piece to prevent twisting. Expect these ones out sooner than later.
“Prototype Tree brake cable. In pursuit of making the best cable out there we are thinking about every detail. We licensed the brass barrel that spins to prevent cable twist idea from Kink. Instead of just taking the idea.”
Bobbie Altiser off Tree Bicycle Co.
After riding for Tree Bicycle Co. the past few years, Bobbie Altiser has decided to step away from the team. No word on what his plans are or why he decided to leave the team, but it sounds like he has something lined up.
“Bobbie’s been part of Tree for quite a while, and now he’s moving on. We wish him the best with all he has in the works!“
Tree Bicycle Co. – Timmy Theus Welcome Edit
Timmy Theus is one dude I’ve fully backed since the day I’ve met him, and since that day he has progressed into such an insanely good rider. This new welcome to Tree Bicycle Co. edit gives you a look at just how dialed he is. This is a must see for sure!
“I don’t know where to start with Timmy, he just get’s it. He’s up for about anything, he’s smart, motivated, maintains a positive outlook, and has a level head on his shoulders. That makes him good company. He’s also really good on his bike and has a casual style with a lot of speed, pop, and skill. Good company makes bike riding better, and when you come a cross a guy like Timmy you want to get them involved with what you’re doing. We’re really happy to be making Timmy an official part of the tribe.
We’d also like to give thanks to Timothy Hyde, Dave Leep, and Tony Loconte for tossing some of their footage into the mix to get this edit wrapped up.

Sneak Peek: Tree Bicycle Co. – Moto Bars and Prototype Stem
Tree Bicycle Co. have dropped a few photos giving you a sneak peek look at Sam Schulte’s new signature Moto bars and their new traditional style 6-bolt topload stem that is looking so damn clean. You can get a look at the photos by clicking here. No word on the release, but based on the branding they’ve got on both, I’d say early 2013 at the latest.
