Vans BMX Pro Cup – Sydney Practice Highlights

The Vans BMX Pro Cup is officially kicking off this weekend down in Sydney, Australia! Some of the top bowl riders in the world have made the trip down south to throw down and it’s bound to be a wild time! Here’s a little look at some of the practice that has gone down so far. We can only imagine how gnarly this contest is going to get!

There’s been a ton of hype for the Vans Pro Cup going on this week and it’s for obvious reason… The contest series is going to kick a lot of ass. If you’re like the majority of us that weren’t invited to ride the contest, then you’re probably stuck trying to imagine how fun the bowl in Sydney is to ride… Well, you’re in luck because Vans strapped a camera on Ryan Nyquist and had his follow Jason Watts as he took a lap through the bowls countless lines. Check out what Jason threw down! Expect things to get wild this weekend when the contest kicks off.

Vans keeping their Rider Profile’s for the Vans BMX Pro Cup series flowing. You better believe Gary Young will be riding this contest and absolutely slaying the bowls in each country. Here’s a little video loaded up with some riding from Gary’s local skatepark in San Diego! You already know this is loaded with style.

We don’t necessarily need a rider bio on Dennis Enarson since most of you checking this out are very familiar with how much Dennis shreds on a bike… BUT! We won’t say no to a rider profile video on a guy like Dennis, either! Hit play to check out a few clips of Dennis going to work on both of his backyard ramp setups out in San Diego!

Here’s a little more action from the Vans BMX Pro Cup qualifier down in Australia! This is the open qualifier for the locals, plus a few pros that didn’t get pre-qualified. Next weekend we’ll see all of the pros and qualified riders go to work in Sydney and it’s bound to be wild if this is what went down in the qualifiers. Check it out!

“This past Sunday, 60 riders competed for the 12 spots to join the 19 invited pros for the Vans BMX Pro Cup Series. Local Aussies came to rip up the course, and Boyd Hilder took the win. Check out the highlights!” – Vans

Vans BMX Pro Cup – Australia Qualifier Highlights

It didn’t take long for some footage from the Vans BMX Pro Cup qualifying stop in Australia to surface! Here’s a video Ryan Guettler put together from the contest giving you a look at some of the action that went down and a little of the fun off the bikes, too. Despite a little rain, it looks like the contest went off smooth and there was plenty of amazing riding to take in! We have a feeling this is just the first of a couple videos that will surface from this one, too.

Vans have released Kevin Peraza’s “Illustrated” section online for your viewing pleasure!

We’re always so stoked when Vans release another section from their “Illustrated” video online! Here’s another BANGER for you to enjoy. This time around we get Kevin Peraza‘s section that is loaded with some phenomenal riding from skateparks, trails and street spots. Kevin brings a unique style to everything he touches and it’s safe to say he went all out for this section because this has to be his best video we’ve seen out of him. Hit play and watch this one a couple times because this is absolute FIRE from start to finish.
