Viki Gomez – Something in the Way

Whenever we see Viki Gomez‘s name pop up over on Flat Matters, we know we are in for a treat. Viki has been working on this BMX video since the start of the year, where he has been pushing his boundaries and trying to add some more tricks that he is not traditionally known for to his line up. Needless to say, he’s had a lot of success with pushing these limits. Check out the video to see for yourself!

Last weekend the LKXA Extreme Barcelona BMX contest went down over in Spain! There was a massive course that was designed to cater to park riders, street riders and the flatland guys. We have seen Viki Gomez pop up in plenty of places and unique settings, riding flatland. Here’s a video he recently posted online of him getting some time having a little dance battle with Lidon Patiño! This is definitely a unique BMX video and there’s some real good riding in it. Take a peek!

We’re always spotting Viki Gomez in different countries! Here’s his latest BMX video we spotted over on Flat Matters from some time he got in while visiting Kuwait! As always, Viki comes through with some damn dialed riding and the background is pretty interesting with people who have clearly never seen anything like this and the city scene as well.

“World Champion BMX Flatland Master Viki Gomez visited Kuwait to put on several shows around the country. We met before in Abu Dhabi and I filmed him there. So we made it a point to try and film while he was here. It came down to the wire and he only had an hour on his last day between shows then he was flying out straight after to Luxembourg. So we ran around like mad shooting in and around Mubarakiya a famous open market and got it done despite the huge crowds and sweltering heat. Luckily we had Kuwait BMX legend Mansour Al-Safran to help control the crowds while he is recovering from a back injury!

A Momentary Lapse of Riding

Wow, this is pretty amazing. ART BMX Magazine over in France just released this new video featuring Viki Gomez using some super high-end film work. We have seen array’s used with GoPro’s in the past, but never anything with DSLR’s and everything! It took 75 DSLR’s with over $100,000 in equipment total to make this one happen. Highly suggest you give it a look!
