Build Woodward – The Cage Rebuild

Woodward East recently replaced the legendary Cage with a new cement bowl…

It’s always amazing seeing what goes into building something new to ride, especially when it’s at Woodward Camp and Nate Wessel is the guy running the show. Hit play to see how this place was built from the initial demo of The Cage all the way through the build of the bowl to finish! If you like seeing how things are made, this is one you won’t want to skip.

The Cage, originally an XGames qualifier BMX street park, has been completely demolished and it’s time for Team Pain to come in and begin construction on a brand new concrete park. Woodward Camp teamed up with Hot Wheels for a contest series for the young guns…

The Hot Wheels Junior Series kicked off at the Vans Skatepark out in Orange, California with a ton of young guns coming out to throw down on the street course and the Mini Ramp. Check out all the highlights giving you a look at what went down! The future is bright!

“This video we played a game of bike at the famous WoodWard Lot 8 skatepark! We divided the group into two different teams and we get straight to riding to see which team would out ride the other! There was some awesome BMX tricks and a couple crazy crashes as well! Scotty Cranmer and crew took a trip down to Pennsylvania to ride Woodward East!

The trips to different parks continues. This time around Scotty Cranmer, Big Boy, Matty Cranmer, Cory Berglar, Dom Simoncini, Vinny Mannino and Brooklyn took the trip on down to Woodward East for a few days of riding. Here’s a look at what went down during their first session from the trip! As always, these guys produced plenty of great riding!

“Took a trip to the greatest place on earth if you are a BMX rider, a skateboarder, a scooter rider, or a rollerblader Woodward camp is the best facility in the world when it comes to skate parks and we are lucky enough to be able to ride there for a couple of days and film videos for you all!
