Well… It was bound to happen at some point, right?
Over the past few years, we’ve seen electric bikes grow in popularity big time in the other cycling industries from the road and comfort bikes to mountain bikes, even. It was only a matter of time until a brand decided to give it a shot with a BMX bike. The guys at The Boiler Room leaked this photo of a bike they just started taking pre-orders on for this summer. The engine is made of 3D printed parts that generate a 1.21 gigawatts of power and goes about 88 miles per hour, which is pretty impressive considering how most riders now days go about 2 miles per hour.
You can check out the full specs and details on the bike right here. That price is RIDICULOUS, so we don’t expect to see too many of these around.
It also looks like this isn’t the first bike. We just found some patent details on another motor George French from G-Sport is working on right here.
