There’s a flatland jam going down in Houston!
Here’s some news we had sent over for you to check out. The Jam Circle is going down February 10th – 12th down in Houston, Texas! This flatland contest is looking to a be a big one with AM and Pro contests, along with a full weekend of good times on top of amazing riding. Check out the full details on the event down below! “Flatland is coming to Houston, Tx, Feb 10 – 12, 2023 and it’s called THE JAM CIRCLE.
This THREE-DAY FLATLAND EVENT is a concept brought to you by Hector Garcia & The Byke Project, creator of the 2000 – 2006 Elevation Flatland Series and the HTX Bike Fest, an all-bicycle festival series that took place in Downtown Houston from 2012 – 2016.
The Jam Circle is made possible with the support of sponsors OSO Coffee Co., Neue Creative, Eado Vodka (the official vodka of the Jam Circle), Flatland Assassins, Flat Society, Eden Plant co (the Jam Circle main event venue), IGI Flatland Products, and Four Pegs BMX store in Vienna.
The Saturday Jam Circle takes place in a 3000 sqft warehouse white space, hosted by our friends at Eado Plant Co. A designated 50 foot diameter circle will create the ultimate jam and contest space for the weekend, in an atmosphere designed to elevate flatland bmx.
AM + PRO CONTESTS
In addition to being an ALL-DAY JAM, the Jam Circle will include both Youth, AM and Pro comps, with the Pro contests paying cash and awards to top 3 winners. Am top 3 will also receive some cash, custom Jam Circle awards, and product from sponsors. Total cash pro purse to be determined, with a minimum of $3K as the total purse prize.
ALL DAY SATURDAY JAM

FRIDAY PRE-JAM JAM + BBQ + DRINKS
As you arrive to Houston Friday, come hang with other riders and the event organizers for a chill pre-jam jam at a location TBD near Downtown Houston. Ride, drink, ride some more, and enjoy some good Houston BBQ and other bites. We’ll end the night at one of our local partner bars for some chill drinks with our friends at Eado Vodka.
SATURDAY JAM CIRCLE + AFTER PARTY
Begin enjoying the Jam Circle spot as early as 9am Saturday morning. With the help of sponsors, industry vendors, and rotating DJs, we’ll be creating a very relaxed environment around the Jam Circle, where you’ll have a variety of places to chill and spectate when not riding. Mixed into the day of riding will be scheduled contests for YOUTH + AM + PRO. We’ll end the day with some best trick action and award ceremonies.
Official After party to take place in or around Downtown Houston, at a venue TBD, with our good friends at Eado Vodka.
SUNDAY MORNING COFFEE + BRUNCH
To end the weekend on a chill note, OSO Coffee will be hosting coffee + brunch Sunday morning for all riders. OSO Coffee is the event organizer Hector Garcia’s newest venture and he’d love to have you all join him for coffee and some good
