“THE DETAILS OF THE CAMP:
-the camp takes place at Quetico College School for 1 week, Aug 9 to 16 2014
-Dennis and the Markit Team will be at the school to session with riders during this week
-all riders are welcome, from those just getting started to Pro riders
-Quetico College School has a large freestyle BMX park and dirt jumping area.
-transportation from local airports is provided at the start and end of the camp. For Thunder Bay, Porter (flyporter.com) provides flights from Toronto, Air Canada and Westjet through Toronto and Winnipeg. For International Falls, Delta provides flights through Minneapolis.
-the cost for the week is $900 per person. This amount includes accommodations in a private room with bath and shower, all meals in our dining hall and all activities.
-there is space for 30 riders for this camp.
-riding sessions will take place daily at the freestyle park.
-on Friday August 15 there will be a competition on the site for all those attending the camp
-in addition to the BMX programme, there will be times for canoeing, wakeskating and water skiing, tennis, swimming, fishing, mountain biking, and soccer/field sports. There will be opportunities to learn techniques for ramp building.
-evening campfires on the lakeshore and BMX video viewings in the theatre are available daily.
-the school is owned and operated by Michael Heaton and his staff. Medical personnel are available to assist at all times with all activities at the camp.
