Here’s one for the Kevin Peraza fans out there! Vans have released Kevin’s own signature colorway for their ever popular Old Skool Pro shoe that we’re sure a bunch of you will be stoked on.
Kevin’s signature colorway takes the classic checker pattern and adds his own twist with a mix of black, red and white, with a stitched “Peraza” logo on the tongue, that turned out real dialed. The shoe is made from the same suede uppers with the DURACAP reinforcement rubber underlays to take the abuse in high wear spots. Inside they have the UltraCush HD sock liners to make for a comfy feel that can take on the impacts that riding throws at you.
Not your average waffle sole!
The Kevin Peraza signature Old Skool Pro colorway also comes with the Wafflecup BMX construction, that I’m 96.69% sure is brand new. I personally can’t recall seeing this, but maybe I had my waffle blinders on and missed this. Either way, the shoe features a blend of the classic waffle sole pattern with a diamond pattern, an octagon style pattern, and a smoother diamond pattern on the rear. With BMX in the name, we would have to assume this was designed to work amazing with BMX pedals. Just when you thought the waffle pattern couldn’t have been improved.
The Kevin Peraza signature Old Skool Pro Colorway is available on the VANS WEBSTORE now for $70.00 flat with sizes 6.5 – 13 available for you. We would imagine these will be available through all BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Vans worldwide shortly as well.
“Vans The Old Skool Pro BMX in Kevin Perazas signature colorway is a Vans classic upgraded for enhanced performance. Featuring sturdy canvas and suede uppers, the Old Skool Pro BMX also includes UltraCush HD sockliners to provide the highest level of impact cushioning, DURACAP reinforcement rubber underlays in high wear areas for unrivaled durability, and the Vans revolutionary Wafflecup BMX construction for unrivaled support and pedal feel.”
