The madness of the “Holiday season” is starting to kick in. This past week brought on a few food comas due to Thanksgiving, people going ape shit over deals at Wal-Mart on Black Friday, and now we’ve got a full recap of all the best edits that dropped in the Daily Section that you might have missed due to everything going on. Strangely enough, we have ended up with 13 edits again. I’m starting to wonder what the hell is going on with that. But let’s take a peek already!
It’s impossible to deny that the new Etnies Summer Grind edit didn’t deserve the top spot this week. It has a phenomenal line up on some awesome spots along with some really dialed filming and editing. All I know is it’s awesome seeing Brian Kachinsky going full speed ahead again.
“The etnies team made their way out to the Mile High City for the Journeys BBQ in Denver and stopped along the way to shred spots in Austin, Oklahoma City and Kansas City. Lucky for you, we filmed it. Check out Aaron Ross, Chase Dehart, Corey Martinez, Tony Hamlin, Tom Dugan and Brian Kachinsky in etnies Summer Grind.”
In the great words of Sean McKinney… “Mike ‘Motha Fucking’ Hoder, Baby”. This is his section from the S&M “Blind In Texas” DVD they released earlier in the year. It’s also the part that has the 360 down El Toro you know you want to see.
Any time you can pair Kriss Kyle and Dave Sowerby up for a video, you should know it’s going to be amazing. What happens when you take those two and fly them to Malaga, Spain for a week of filming? You get this phenomenal edit loaded up with goodness thanks to The Source.
Want to know how you know you are a good film maker? You can make something amazing with any cameras. Will Evans might have had his top of the line gear stolen, but that didn’t stop him from dropping this dialed edit filmed with a Super 8 camera and some iPhones for Wethepeople.
“This is what remains from a trip to France and Germany with Wethepeople team riders Jason Phelan, Mike Curley and Fooman.
Jason, Mike, Foo and Will Evans had been on the Dawn promotional tour with Frenchies and Maxime Chevron. If you haven’t seen the afore mentioned edit here’s the link VIMEO
The plans was after the tour had finished the lads would travel through France, up to Cologne to film a web edit.
In Paris some thieving £*$£’s stole virtually all of Will’s camera equipment, leaving the guys with a super 8 camera and 4 iphone’s.
This is the result”
Footage of Edwin DeLaRosa that spans 12 years? Yes please! Thanks to Skavenger for this gold.
“Skavenger Bridge V2 frame promo, featuring classic footage of Edwin De La Rosa from over the past 12 years, and specs of the updated Bridge (V2) frame.” – Vinnie Sammon
Fact: There is not enough Marcas Grubbs footage going around these days. Hopefully now that he’s living in Portland he will be popping up more.
“Marcas recently made the move to Portland, Oregon. While he has been settling in, he managed to get a fair bit of riding in too.”
Shawn Swain has been really good for a long time. I knew this video for Cult was going to be good, but damn I didn’t know it would be THIS good. So many creative clips in this. Maximum peg use as well.

Wethepeople was on fire with edits this week. This is really simplistic but such a good story.
“In Bonn, Germany there lies a bridge. Under that bridge theres these weird humps and Ive no idea why they are there. However when it rains its where everyone rides. Its also a place where strange things happen.

It’s weird how I was wondering when Colony would be bumping Jourdan up to the Pro team then a few days later it’s announced. I’m glad Colony is on the same page as I am.
“Riverside, California local street killer Jourdan Barba dropped a solid edit in-conjunction to him being bumped to the Colony Pro team. Everyone loves Jourdan and he obviously puts in work so we are stoked to have him doing good things with us.
Thanks to Larry Alvarado for filming and editing this aswell.

This might be a pretty chill edit, but with a crew like Tony Hamlin, Lloyd Wright and Dan Coller, you can’t really go wrong. Check out this edit Kink dropped this week.
“Little chiller of the guys riding some spots in Rochester, with a few randoms sprinkled in from the road. Filmed by Lil Dan and the crew. Edited by Darryl Tocco.
Song- Tame Impala “Endors Toi””
Liam “Lima” Eltham showing you just why he deserved some signature bars from Verde. So much style!
“Verde’s Liam “Lima” Eltham hits some trails and skateparks in France and England after the Kill The Line contest in Peynier, France. Lima’s signature Verde bars are also now available worldwide at finer bike shops. Styles for miles…

This is the season finale to Corey Bohan’s Wizard of Aus show that Red Bull has been running all summer. I really hope they continue on for a 2nd season because this is the only show I’ve really been able to watch every episode of.
“In the season finale of Wizard of Aus, Corey Bohan heads to Austin, Texas for Taj Mihelich’s annual Texas Toast jam.
The Gauntlet of Death starts things off, followed by the dirt jumping contest- featuring Ryan Nyquist, Morgan Wade, Chase Hawk and Brian Foster to name just a few. Next, Corey joins the surprise premiere of Stew Johnson’s amazing “BF- it” documentary on the life and times of living legend, Brian Foster.
The Texas Toast street contest follows, featuring ridiculous riding from Dennis Enarson, Chad Kerley, Gary Young and Corey Martinez. The Texas Toast jam served as the perfect wrap up to an amazing year of travel for Corey Bohan and the Wizard of Aus series.”
