The end of the year is coming up and I feel like there’s been an abundance of wild videos that dropped this past week because of that. I dug through the Daily Section and pulled out 16 edits that you definitely don’t want to miss. We’ve got guys like Brian Kachinsky, Bruno Hoffmann, Mike Hoder, Dillon Lloyd, Anthony Watkinson, Anton Arnarson, Tate Roskelley, Seamus McKeon, Mark Webb and more all waiting for you in this weeks edition of Video Recap. Let’s get into it!
This weeks top spot is a no brainer. The second part from the BSD “Living for the City” video is absolutely amazing. David Grant’s ender is absolutely insane. You need to see this.
“More BSD action from the streets of Glasgow…

I had been anticipating Brian Kachinsky’s new DK Bicycles video to drop for a while and damn did this one not disappoint. Soooooooooo good.
“Brian Kachinsky has had one of the best years of his life on a BMX bike, and here is the video evidence to prove it. 4 minutes of bangers from the United States and beyond–the hammers don’t stop in this one.
Filmed by: Andrew Brady, Jeff Klugiewicz, Grant Castelluzzo, Paul Williams, Stew Johnson, Paul Dybas, Elliot Van Orman, Tony Malouf, Tony Loconte, Jeff Wescott, Christian Rigal, and Trent McDaniel
Edited by: Andrew Brady
Music: “Press Gang” by The Murder City Devils
Album: In Name and Blood.
Label: Subpop Records”
It’s not every day that we’re seeing a video from Tate Roskelley… but when they do pop up you don’t miss it. Tate is one of the most creative people in BMX and this Volume Bikes is loaded with creative riding and spots.
“In honor of the last day of the world, and subsequently the end of the BMX world as you know it, we invite you to delve into the creative mind of Mr. Roskelley for a few minutes. From biblical water travel capabilities, to cartoon inspired banana peel slides, to tricks that arguably are achieved with a funny looking unicycle and not a bicycle…Tate is constantly pushing the envelope in terms of what the parameters of BMX bike riding actually are. In Tate’s mind they simply don’t exist, and they shouldn’t in yours either. It’s a brand new time period in Mayan history, a new year is around the corner, and hopefully it’s a time for more fresh ideas like this in BMX…go out there and get creative!
Filmed by Jordan Utley & Elf Walters.
Edited by Jordan Utley.
Music: Beach House – “Myth””
I honestly cannot get over how gnarly the crash clip of Mike Hoder is in this… He looks so dead. Once that’s done though, Mike and Jose Castillo drop some hammers for S&M Bikes.
Filmed and edited by Nic Gironda
I cannot wait for part 3 to drop. I’m assuming it’ll be out tomorrow morning. I can’t imagine how they are going to top the riding in this though. So wild. Bruno definitely turns up the technical level.
“The Bruno Hoffmann project: “Back to Berlin Streets”. For 2 months, Bruno Hoffmann explored the city of Berlin in search of the best BMX street spots. In the second episode, Bruno meets up with fellow riders Matthias Dandois, Anthony Perrin, Mario Waffenschmidt, Dennis Kicza, and the Slayer crew to ride some of the best places Berlin has to offer.” – Red Bull
Can you ever go wrong with anything by Markit? This is just as good as you would imagine.
“Most of the crew and a few of our homies shred some skateparks around California and end up in Mexico for this months APOCALYPTIC MARKIT MIX. Featuring Connor Lodes, Mike Jonas, Ronnie Napolitan, Christian Rigal, Chad Kerley, and Dennis Enarson.
Homie clips from Steve Woodward, Bill Macpherson, Ryan Nyquist, Big Daddy, Gary Young and Ryan Olson.

This new video of Anthony Watkinson is for Peep Game is so wild. It’s kind of crazy that DK would let a guy like Anthony go. Consider this his resume, because I highly doubt it will be long before he has a new sponsor.
“We didn’t start filming in hopes of filming a video part, but over the past four months we’ve done some traveling and filming together and this is what came of it.
I’m beyond psyched on how it came out and glad I got to show this side of him (no homo),
ENJOY.

There’s no denying that Dillon Lloyd has earned his spot on the Eclat pro team. This video is proof of that.
“Filmed by Sean Cooke, Jeremy Deme, Vlad Poloukhine, Luke Santucci, Corey Dewey and Chris Granger, Edited by Jeremy Deme.”
There is not enough Seth Peterson footage floating around these days. I’m stoked this dude is back in Minnesota. Hopefully we cross paths here soon.
““Seth Peterson moved to the Lone Star state 3 years ago where he rode every random spot that he could find. Recently, he made the move back home to the North Star state. This video entitled From the Lone Star to the North Star captures the last few months in Austin and the first few months back in Minnesota. Seth has a creative view to spots and riding so pay close attention. Great job Seth!” – Sunday
BMX can get pretty serious, but it shouldn’t be. Mark Webb and JC Pieri had a lot of fun with this one and in the process came up with some wild tricks.
“Mark Webb & JC Pieri riding the guetto shed doing funny and stupid tricks to show how fun is bmx.

Clement Carpentier put in some serious work for this one. So many awesome clips in this one.
“Coinciding with his Soulbmxmag cover and interview in the latest issue, here’s Clem’s new edit for Kinkbikesco.
Clem rides for kinkbikesco, foundation via Unleadedbmx, Etnies, and Data Clothing!
Music: Hard Time – Baby Huey
School’s out – Alice Cooper”
I don’t know how the hell Anton Arnarson is able to pump out so many good edits, but he does it really well. Here’s his latest filled with goodness.
“Beating the cold Icelandic winter.”
Seamus McKeon has always had a real unique approach to BMX and I think it’s awesome that he’s got his own signature frame from Guerra that will be out soon. If you need proof that this thing can take a beating, check this out. That last drop is sooo big.
“We’re proud to present “The Moose” Seamus McKeon’s signature Guerra frame.

This video is amazing for the simple fact that you can put two unique riders from opposite parts of the world that speak different languages together in an edit and their riding does all of the speaking for them. That’s what is awesome about BMX.
“This is the outcome of two riders sharing a mutual respect for each others work and to the idea of having no barrier in between what the world sees out of certain areas of the globe. We wanted to show that even though our languages are completely different, there is still an unspoken relation and expression through the art of bmx that simply does not need words to be understood. Both of us are video producers for our local area trying to use our cameras as a tool to make what we see echo out as far as possible so maybe someone else will catch on and enjoy the beauty of simply riding freestyle bmx. At first glimpse a rider might seem like an adrenaline junky, but everyone learns overtime your bike is an instrument used to express yourself whether it be dangerous, smooth, soulful or creative. The movements and approach to riding a bike can translate into its very own language. Similiar to how a good piece of music can instantly translate a distinct language or feeling. The bike Accents the riders expression.” – James Meliota

THIS is how you get into the holiday spirit.
“Santa (Adam Banton) and his Elf (Kyle Morris) take a break from the cold and shred their BMX bikes at a sunny Arizona skatepark! Testing out Mrs. Claus’s wrap job just before the holiday, these two let loose showing stacks of presents no mercy before loading the sleigh and heading out for their long night!” – Network A
