It’s always fun digging through the Daily Section to pick out the edits for this weekly list. I average around 160 or 170 posts a week (roughly 25 – 30 a day) so as you can imagine, I can’t always remember all of the videos I watched and posted. This week was another one of those weeks where I forgot just how many wild videos that dropped. This week you can find videos featuring Harry Main, Connor Lodes, Dave Osato, Liam Fahy-Hampton, Josh Perry, Mick Bayzand, Joris Coulomb, Cam Wood, Dan Foley, Daniel Johnson, Tony Hamlin, Javi Castilla, Diego “Mono” Navarro and more. Let’s check it all out!

Do I really need to justify why Harry Main’s new “Harrymania” edit is the top pick for the week? The video already has 330,000 views and I’m pretty sure people all over the world have lost their minds over it too. Hit play because you know you need to see this at least twice to process what’s going down in this.

Dan Foley is always a treat to see footage from. This welcome to G-Sport is nothing short of awesome. Plus, the ender is absolutely mind blowing.

GSport is proud to welcome Dan Foley to the team. Dan is one multi-talented individual – aside from his creative, unique, and insanely dialed bike riding abilities, he’s also a skilled filmer / editor and even a college graduate – he just recently finished up his communications degree with a concentration in media production, all while maintaining a career as a pro bike rider. Not too shabby.

We asked Dan’s long-time friend Terrell Gordy to write a few words about Dan:

‘I’ve come up with probably 30 different ways to describe Dan, but at the end of the day, I’m pretty psyched to just call Dan my friend. We all know Dan is a badass on a bike, but very few people are able to balance getting a college education and a flourishing BMX career. Mr. Foley made it happen, and I think that speaks volumes of the type of person he is, on and off the bike.’ – Terrell Gordy

We can’t wait to work more with Dan!”

When Markit releases a new edit, there’s no doubting that it’s a must see. When you combine any of their crew with Christian Rigal, it usually ends up gold. Christian teamed up with Vans newest rider, Connor Lodes, for this months Markit edit welcoming Connor to the Vans team. Check it!

Chase Hawk, Joe Rich, Bas Keep and Rob Dolecki filmed and edited by Bob Scerbo. Do I really need to say more besides they roast some Northwest concrete parks? Enjoy!

Josh Perry Winter 2013 – More BMX Videos

Josh Perry doesn’t let medical issues stop him from dominating. This new edit is so awesome. So, so stoked to see Josh doing well again.

Leave it to Perry to bounce back from radiation therapy for a brain tumor with his best video ever… This is amazing! Credit: Dan Foley, additional filming: Leigh Ramsdell

Liam Fahy-Hampton might not be a name we hear all too often any more, but a few years ago he was blowing minds with his unique approach to riding street. If you pay attention to a good number of the clips in his part from the never released “Run At Me Slut” DVD, he’s lacking a chain and sprocket. Some of you guys who have been riding for a while will remember this strange trend he started for a bit there. Amazing. I need fresh footage of this dude A.S.A.P.

Liam Fahy-Hampton’s groundbreaking part from the infamous and ill-fated Run at Me Slut DVD. As far as we know, the rest of the DVD never made it off the cutting room floor, but Dan Gascoine released this back in 2007… and we sure are glad he did.
Filming & production: Dan Gascoine.

Shout out to Ryan Navazio for finally uploading the “Left / Right” video online for everyone to enjoy.

Left/Right was released in March 2007. It was an interesting time to be releasing a DVD because web videos were just starting to become more common and thecomeup was gaining more momentum. People were just starting to use HD cameras to film BMX, and even at that time I can remember being told that DVD’s were dying and it wasn’t likely that I would sell very many copies. I wasn’t necessarily as interested in selling tons of copies as I was in using the video to promote both the riders and my work. For me the goal was to make back what I spent and essentially make a name for myself so that I could hopefully continue to make BMX videos full time. It was promoted almost entirely by word of mouth, and with a few good reviews in magazines. It actually ended up doing pretty well with help from S&M distributing it on the west coast and Animal on the east coast.
A few people have asked the significance of the name Left/Right. Prior to Left/Right, Standpoint was a video magazine and each issue was numbered up to issue 6. Left/Right initially started out as Standpoint 7 but I wanted to move away from the video magazine side of things because releasing “issues” by number seemed to devalue the videos. Finding a proper name for the video would help ensure that it had a longer shelf life. I wanted a name that was descriptive of the content in the video and spent several months deliberating what the final title would be (I had a list of about 5 or 10 different titles that I wish I could find because I don’t remember what they were anymore). Half of the video was filmed on the west coast representing the “left” and the other half on the east coast representing the “right”. A vague but simple title that worked perfectly.
A good portion of the project was financed through the sale of clips I had filmed over the years to a company in California that made segments for an on demand cable network. At one point, before going on Red Bull’s Mean Streets, I was basically out of money . I didn’t have enough to even cover rent the following month before leaving for that trip. I ended up on a team with Gary Young and Morgan Wade, and as luck would have it, our team won that contest. Those guys split the winnings with me and that helped finance the rest of the project and kept me afloat. I seriously can’t thank Gary and Morgan enough for splitting that cash with me. I shot the intro to the video video on a Bolex using 16mm film purchased with my old student ID at Kodak in Hollywood. By the time I was ready to get the film processed and transferred (the final step before editing) I paid for it by selling an old VX1000 to Larry Alvarado. The same VX1000 was used to film Criminal Mischief, which was given to me in trade for working on the Little Devil DVD. The MK1 fisheye (used throughout the video) was also used in the making of Criminal Mischief.
All of the DVD artwork and animation in the video was created by Sean Curran aka Whiteboy. Whiteboy designed the famous Animal griffin head logo and was Animal’s lead parts designer at the time. He designed all of the packaging and graphics for the previous Standpoint videos and Left/Right was his first venture into animation using After Effects. The cover photo was shot and donated by Ride US photographer Jeff Zielinski. Dean Dickinson was one of the only other videographers to contribute footage. On the east coast, the video premiered at Van Homan’s now defunct two by four store in Pennsville, NJ and out west at 9 star in Mission Viejo, Ca (Kurt Rasmussen’s hometown).
Over the years I’ve had some of the most talented riders (and some of my favorite riders) in the world tell me this is one of their all time favorite videos. Hearing that has motivated me to try and get people to see it, either for the first time or to revisit. Most of this video has remained absent from the internet until now. There was a google video version with out of sync audio up for a few years but google video is no more. I’ve also mastered the compression settings to a point where I’m happy with the quality. So this is the first official release of Left/Right online. Enjoy!

Joris Coulomb has been on fire the past year or two. This video welcoming him to the Shadow Conspiracy continues that fire.

We announced the addition of Joris Coulomb to the Shadow International team back in September and since then he has been putting in work on his welcome edit. To say it’s been worth the wait is an understatement. Watch this IMMEDIATELY!

Kink‘s Tony Hamlin is hilarious and doesn’t take things too serious. This Day in the Life is definitely epic.

This is how Tony lives his life everyday when he is back home in Rochester,NY

Cannot go wrong with some fresh Mick Bayzand footage. Check out this new Colony edit that dropped this past week.

Mick has been stacking clips for various projects lately, he is well known for his burly rail skills but can also jib with the best of them so there is some moves in this you may not expect from Teddy but I think it shows how diverse his riding is becoming . This footage is from all around Australia and Vancouver Canada.

This new Cult edit featuring Javi Castilla and Diego “Mono” Navarro hits so hard. Everything works together from the riding to the filming, editing and song choice. Definitely a treat.

The production behind this is a little crazier than it needs to be, but Danny Campbell definitely got the chance to ride one of the wildest natural setups in the world for this. I wonder how much money Mercedes Benz put up for this… It’s got over 100,000 views already too. Crazy.

InfinityList.com leaders in cinematic online sports content collaborated with mb! by Mercedes-Benz Magazine mercedes-benz.com/mb and Australian BMX rider Danny Campbell to conquer “Wave Rock” a 14 m (47 ft) high and 110 m (350 ft) long granite rock face shaped like an over-vert quarter pipe located in the Western Australia Outback.
Shot over 3 days of blistering heat hundreds of miles from the nearest major city of Perth. The video takes place in the rock jungle gym that is the Hyden Wildlife Park for what is the world’s first attempt to drop in on this rock of historical significance.
Danny Campbell negotiated the difficult and dangerous terrain with relative ease after spending a half-day scouting. The rock which appears deceivingly smooth to the naked eye is wicked rough with large elevated patches of uneven surfaces and took all his tactical finesse to negotiate.
In partnership with mb! by Mercedes-Benz Magazine, Mercedes-Benz Australia provided the use of a new G350 BlueTEC Edition to facilitate the camera crew and talent negotiating the difficult outback terrain in the process of shooting this piece.

Hoffman Bikes made Daniel Johnson’s welcome edit embedable this week. Good enough excuse for a repost and to make this list!

Daniel Johnson is our dude repping HB down in Australia. DJ is a beast on street and always puts out solid footage so we hit him up to see if he wanted to ride a frame. Stoked to have him and you will definitely dig this edit.

Let’s end this weeks list with a look at a pretty unknown dude who came out of no where to impress a lot people. Brenden Tombow is the newest addition to the Animal flow team, and I’m sure this is just the start of footage we’ll see out of this guy.

Here’s a video of the homie Tombow killing rails and ledges all over Southern California. We’ve been working on this thing for a minute so I’m stoked to finally be getting it out. Tombow just recently got put on Animal flow so you can only expect to see more and more of him killing it in the future.. Hit that play button and share the video if you’re feelin it!
