Well… Another week is coming to a close and damn was it a busy one. We had a ridiculous number of dialed videos drop this past week in the DAILY SECTION. This weeks Video Recap is absolutely stacked with 21 videos featuring the likes of Reed Stark, Chad Kerley, Nathan Williams, Jacob Cable, Drew Hosselton, Eric Bahlman, Lino Gonzalez, Chijioke Okafo, Trey Jones, Tyler Fernengel, Geoff Slattery, Mike Hoder, Diego “Mono” Navarro, Glenn Salyers and many, many more. Let’s get into this because there’s a lot to see!

This week we had a 3 way tie for the best video of the week. It wasn’t an easy choice, but I decided since Reed Stark is from the land of Minnesota, I’d break the tie with that fact, haha. Check out Reed absolute DESTROYING some insane spots in Arizona for this new BSD edit. Amazing.

Giraffic Reed Stark going wild in the streets of Arizona.
Be sure to check out his interview in the May/June 2013 issue of Ride BMX magazine.
Filmed and edited by Tony Malouf.

Tied for first place this week is this new one from Markit featuring Geoff Slattery. Geoff’s riding is something I can’t get enough of. Style over tricks forever. Plus, how many times will we see him flip a double? Haha

Geoff is one of the realest guys out there, on and off his bike. Which shows in this MARKIT edit he filmed over the last few months. Geoff shreds a couple of his local parks on the East coast, and some parks he’s never been to before on the West coast. Nobody rides big bowls like Geoff! Give this a watch and I’m positive it will make you want to get out and ride.

The third video tied for the top spot goes to Tyler Fernengel and his new Osiris edit. This kid absolutely CRUSHES and doesn’t look like he’s slowing down any time soon. All I know is this guy is a full blown man at 17 years old.

Three days after his 17th birthday, Tyler Fernengel headed west to bang out his finest work. Prepare to be amazed…

I’m a big fan of these Native videos from Eclat. This time around they spent some time looking at where Nathan Williams grew up and get his perspective on a few things. Definitely a great video.

Part 2 of the Éclat Natives series with Nathan Williams. In March 2013 we set about filming and directing a six part series focusing on six individuals called Natives…

They are Nathan Williams, Shane Weston, Geoff Slattery, Darryl Tocco, Chester Blacksmith and Sean Burns. This, the second part is with Nathan Williams. We visit his hometown, see where he grew up and ask him a few questions on life, his upbringing and even more intriguing questions like whats his true opinion on the internet and its effect in BMX..

Mike fricken Hoder. This video is a compilation of some of his wildest clips and they’re all hammers!

This one isn’t embedable yet, but Chad Kerley’s new Bakers Dozen edit from The Bakery dropped this past week. I was almost going to hold off on this one because I’m sure it’ll be embedable next week… Which means it’ll be making it on next weeks list too, haha. Until then, hit this LINK to check it.

To promote his signature parts from The Shadow Conspiracy, Trey Jones went out and filmed some damn good clips for this new edit. You don’t need to be told twice that this 4 minutes of goodness.

Trey Jones comes through with some absolute fire in this brand new edit for his signature 138 Grips and Solus Penumbra series seats. From the streets, to the trails, and on to the parks, this edit has absolutely everything!

Glenn Salyers is one rider I almost feel goes under the radar for how good he is. I think this welcome to And Forks edit is a clear reminder of just how good he really is.

Glenn Salyers is our newest addition to the And Forks team, and he filmed his intro edit in and around Indiana and Ohio…
Watch this space. Glenn shreds…

Diego “Mono” Navarro is a hell of a rider and this new OSS edit is damn good. The scene in Argentina is on it these days for sure.

The homie Mono from Argentina is one of the best BMX riders in the country and just an awesome guy. This is his second OSS web video and it’s ridiculous. Thanks so much to Mono for putting this together and thanks to all the Argentinian homies for being great friends.

Chijioke is BACK!

Chijioke Okafo has had a few bad summers now and bad luck with some serious injuries in the last couple of years. Now he’s back in the game and healthier than ever. He met up with Chris Silva one afternoon to film this quick edit at our favourite ramshackle skatepark in one of Toronto’s west end neighbourhoods. If the video is telling of anything then he hasn’t lost a thing. Make sure to check out our short interview with him about injuries and recovery over on our site here: LINK

Lino Gonzalez is one rider I’m always stoked on seeing footage from. This is his part from the last Animal video “They Too Crusty Wit It”. Nice!

Another week, another section from The Daily Grind DVD! This time around they’ve dropped Scott Steele’s section that is definitely filled with goodness.

Francis might downplay this new edit of Jacob Cable for the Common Crew, but don’t let that throw you off. It’s an absolute banger as usual from this young gun!

Filming for MONSTERMASH is a tedious process, film all week, practice, and progress. Before you know it, you got new cameras, tricks, and spots. Old clips you were once hyped on start to not match up to the standards you once had as a rider and filmer and better clips begin to stack up. These are some of the clips that have not made the cut for Jacob Cable’s MONSTERMASH section, enjoy! – Francis Castro

A little while back, Diamondback took Ben Hucke, Darin Read, Matt Closson, Michael Gray and Connor Mcentire out on the road with filmer Tony Malouf. They came back with this dialed new video!

A few months back, X-Games announced that after this year, they will be looking to move their annual event that has taken place in Los Angeles for the last decade (or so?) to other parts of the U.S. When they announced that, they decided to give different major cities around the country the opportunity to try and wow them in an attempt to get them to give them a shot at hosting one of the worlds largest known action sports events. Detroit is one place that has really been putting in some work to get their attention and the video above, in my opinion, is a hell of a way to wow the people making the decisions. I guarantee once you hit play you will end up watching all 5 minutes of this.

The other weekend, Chase DeHart, Dakota Roche, Chase Hawk, Alex Kennedy, Trey Jones and a few others from the Cult team made their way to the Epic BMX shop for a day of riding and hanging out with the locals. Take a look at what went down in this video!

Check out some footy from the recent EPIC BMX JAM and a quick f-town session…Good times riding with the locals, thanks for coming out…

Kym Grosser and Mick Bayzand spent a day cruising around Melbourne with a GoPro. They were able to come across some real good spots where they filmed a ton of real good clips for this new edit. Plus, there’s some cool views of the city which will probably make you really want to go there like I do right now.

Tag team action from two of Arizona’s finest for this new Volume Bikes edit!

Self proclaimed cowboy Drew Hoss and Eric Bahlman teamed up with local skate filmer Bill Brown over the past couple months in Arizona and produced what’s safe to say is going to be a timeless web video. This edit is the perfect blend of style, progressive riding, and excellent spot use….with an underlying best buds vibe and smiles throughout. There’s so much shit in here that will wow you even after the second or third watch. Shoutout to you two for killing it so hard and Bill for doing an excellent job behind the lens….Well what are you waiting for…check it out!

Two is a row from Drew Hosselton? You bet your ass! This week Ride BMX dropped Drew’s section from The Hunt‘s “Gold Rush” DVD. Boom!

Let’s wrap this week up with some smooth riding from Eclat‘s newest addition through Traffic Distribution, Sebastian Anton. Take a look because I’m sure we’ll be seeing more from this guy in the future!

We are really proud to have him now in the official Traffic Distribution team for Éclat. Sebastian is 15 years old and from Frankfurt city, Germany.
Welcome to the Traffic family!
