Another week went blazing by and a another week of incredibly good BMX videos were posted up in the Daily Section! Like every week, we’ve gone through and picked out some of the best for you to check out again or watch for the first time if you missed it! It was hard to pick this weeks top spot, but I think it was pretty obvious that Bob Scerbo’s latest, “Skapegoat 9”, was an easy choice! With appearances from guys like Jeff Kocsis, Edwin De La Rosa, Tom White and more on spots all along the east coast from trips they took filming for Animal‘s QSS #5, I doubt anyone will want to miss this one! “When you say the name Darryl Tocco, you think of a few things; PRO bike rider, accomplished filmmaker and world class air miler. Darryl is also the perfect candidate to discuss and open up to what he thinks about BMX in general, the internet and growing up inside a BMX industry as both a pro rider and a film maker.
Natives Part 3 explores in brief the background of Darryl Tocco, it also verges on his likes and dislikes in BMX. He also does what he does every single day; riding his bike.

Music Disclaimer: Before anyone screams “SONGJACK!!!”, of course this same soundtrack was used for Tom Dugan’s section in the epic Bad Idea video from Empire BMX. The Part Deux DVD came out a couple weeks before Bad Idea, and it’s highly unlikely Dave Parrick saw the Deluxe DVD before its release, and we hadn’t seen Bad Idea before we made this part – so this is a simple case of massive co-incidence. For our second full-length film, we decided to mix things around from Welcome To Deluxe. This time out we ventured to some choice spots that our team riders created and nurture on a daily basis – from Southern California to Pennsylvania, from the Midlands of England to Southern France. We also took the team on tour to discover new spots, cook up some lines, throw some shovel-loads, and have a good time. Because that’s what we’re all about… enjoy.

“Ryan Nyquist sets out to invent the first ever spring-loaded spinning BMX handlebars. In an attempt to mechanize BMX barspins, Ryan along with his brother Shea, take several interesting approaches including a coiled spring, pyrotechnics, and a cordless grinder, but it’s the combination of a direct drive pully system and a motorcycle starter battery operated by a remote control that really gets Ryan’s handlebars spinning on their own. “Justin came up to Huntington for a few weeks on two separate occasions to film a little somethin’ somethin’. We were filming for the fun of it and had no real intentions as far as what to do with the footage we collected. As we traveled to and hit all these awesome street spots, including a few night sessions here and there, we realized that this video was coming along great, so what better way to debut the video than through Justin’s main juice, FITBIKECO. Chris was down with the idea so here it is!
