All right, so I decided to change the name of the weekly round up of the best videos from Hangover to Video Recap. Hangover isn’t nearly as funny when you’re struggling with a hangover in the first place. That, and I don’t think it was clear as Video Recap…. So that’s what we’re doing now. Either way, I’ve got 13 of the best edits from the week (once again with the 13… Not sure why we always end up with about that many but we do) for you to check out for the second time or maybe catch something you missed. Let’s do this!
I’ve gotta give it up the top spot to Nike for this one. The riding is phenomenal and Ryan Navazio did a damn fine job on the filming and editing.
“Garrett Reynolds, Chad Kerley, and Alex Kennedy sample the streets of Taipei, Taiwan, and ride with the locals in the Nike Summer Jam. “Tech” is in full-effect with this crew! Filmed and edited by Ryan Navazio.”
Two words: Holy shit. This is how Primo announced that Craig Passero is on the team. Bangers galore.
“Welcome to the team”
If the cover screen shot isn’t enough to make you hit play, I don’t know what to tell you. Iz Pulido coming through with a wild new edit for Cult.
“Editing- Veesh
Music- Electric Wizard “Saturnine””
Incase you were wondering why I think Kenny Horton is so under rated.
“Kenny Horton as seen in the FBM DVD Thousand Yard Stare. Awesome!” – FBM
Daniel Johnson is a beast.
“Filmed over the past 6 months when DJ hasn’t been down with injuries.
Filmed/Edited: Cooper Brownlee
Additional Filming: Marnold, Jack Kelly, Luke Vandenberg, Brock Olive, Lachy Swanton and Rhys Yeomans.” – Division Brand
This is the best way for them to kick things off with the new park for sure…
“Corey Martinez kicks off a series of video sessions from the new 4Down park, presented by Etnies. Corey spent the week in England but only required two visits to set a high standard for anyone that follows.
The 4Down park has been in the works for the past 6 months, an invite only facility in Hastings, UK built by 4Down in conjunction with Etnies. The park aims to give back to the local scene, team riders, friends, family and special guests, so expect this to be the first of many videos and events to come.” – 4Down
3 of the best dudes in one of the weirdest countries around…
“etnies BMX goes to India with Nathan Williams, Aaron Ross & Tom Dugan. See what they get into while searching for spots and making their way through Mumbai & Bandra.” – Etnies
This is so inspiring and amazing. Honestly… Mike Aitken is a champ.
“Mike Aitken’s part from KILLJOY.
Music: Gouge Your Eyes Out by GRAVEBABIES.” – Jordan Utley
Good to see Mongoose getting proper use out of their stacked team! This is so good.
“Mongoose BMX riders Paul Ryan, Greg Illingworth, Steve McCann, Cam White, Jack Fahey, Ben Wallace and Julien Masse take to the streets and parks of Lyon, France.”
“Jaie Toohey filmed this rad edit all over the world this past year, riding some of the most amazing dirt spots and contests there is.
Proving dirt isn’t dead, Toohey brings his own crazy style to everything he rides!
Share this shit with your friends, tag us in and let the world know we want to #BringBackDirt

This video didn’t get nearly as much love as I think it should have….
“Short edit of team rider Phil Martin in the Sourcebmx Garden. Filmed over a couple of sessions in the grim English summer of 2012. See sourcebmx.com for more.”
“
Kink Bike Co. teamrider Albert Mercado meets up with the legendary Dirt Ron and buddy Tom Perry for a San Diego Super Session. The boys hit up a number of SD’s best spots before getting sidetracked at the skatepark by some day-walking gingers. Albert refuses to let the encounter slow the team down and finishes strong with a caveman drop in off the lifeguard tower turning heads up and down the beach.” – Network A
With a team as good as Simple‘s it’s hard to not make a must see edit when they get together.
“Filmed in Denmark during Roskilde Festival 2012 featuring James Reynolds, Sam Marden, Adrian Malmberg, Patrick Alaspää, Eduards Zunda, Mark Reuss and Simple Bike Company founder Niels Thanild.”
