The guys at Wethepeople sent over a fresh video featuring Pete Sawyer absolutely crushing it for his signature Sterling frame, fork and bars. The Sterling frame is made from butted Seamless Japanese 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 69-degree seat tube angle, a 9″ stand over height, 11.5″ bottom bracket height and a 13.4″ chain stay length. The frame features a CNC machined and heat-treated head tube with an integrated headset and removable gyro tabs, there are gussets on the top and down tubes for increased strength, a single butted top tube, a double butted down tube, investment cast seat and chain stay bridges for increased strength and more tire clearance, 6mm thick CNC machined and heat-treated chromoly drop outs with exceptional peg clearance, an integrated seat post clamp and removable brake mounts. The Sterling frame is available in 20.6″, 20.9″ and 21.2″ top tube lengths with colors of red, chrome, acidified black and gloss black with a weight of 5.29 lbs. This frame also comes with a lifetime warranty.
The Sterling bars are made from 7/8″ thick, multi-butted 4130 “M2″ chromoly with a full liquid post-weld heat-treatment that ensures the metal is evenly heat-treated. The bars have a 9.2″ rise, width of 29”, 11-degrees of back sweep, 3-degrees of upsweep and you can find cutting guides on the ends if you would like narrower bars. The Sterling bars are available black, acidified black, red and chrome plated with a weight of 28.55 oz. (1.78 lbs / 809 grams).
The Sterling fork. This 32mm offset fork is made from 4130 “M2” chromoly with a full liquid post-weld heat-treatment. The fork features a 170mm one-piece steerer tube is CNC machined and single-butted with an integrated crown race and laser cut, CNC machined, 6mm thick heat-treated 4130 chromoly drop outs with unique blade end caps that match the frame and a 7075-T6 alloy top bolt. The Sterling fork is available in gloss black, acidified black, red and chrome plated with a weight of 2.17 lbs. (34.72 oz.).
