Work In Progress – 70 Hour Work Week with Ollie Shields

It’s always pretty interesting to find out what some of your favorite riders are up to when they aren’t riding. We had no idea that Ollie Shields spends most of his days working construction. We also had no idea that he only really gets a good session in about once a week! Check out this video giving us a little insight into what he does for work followed up by some damn good riding from that one session Ollie does get in with a few of the locals every week. Highly suggest you check this BMX video out! This is what dedication and love looks like. Hell yeah, Ollie!

Think your job is hard? Try being a pro bmxer. Far from the video parts and the glory-filled competitions a lot of pro riders make incredible sacrifices in order to do what they love. Take Ollie Shields – despite having a huge 2014 he still works as a builder doing 70 hour weeks. This demanding schedule leaves him one day a week to ride. Luckily he knows how to make the most of it with a big weekly session at Revolution Bike Park. Check out Ollie’s incredible dedication to the life and the sport that he loves and ask yourself this: Are you this committed to anything you do? This series is proudly supported by Seventies Distribution, Cult Bikes and Vans.
