This past weekend the X Games went off in California, and they did things a little different. They threw the Real BMX Best Trick contest, but didn’t tell anyone where it was going down until the event was live. The best trick contest went down live at the very well known Rincon spot with 10 heavy hitters like Garrett Reynolds, Nathan Williams, Brad Simms, Colin Varanyak and Jordan Godwin ready to throw down on this legendary spot we’ve all seen in countless video parts. 1 heat of 10 athletes in a 60-minute jam session. Best run counts, ranked 1-10. Judges will rank competitors throughout the contest.” – X Games

“An hour long session with ten of the best riders in the world at one of the most notorious spots in Southern California. Man, X Games really did it with this one and as you’ll see from this video, it was one of the wildest street jams I’ve ever witnessed… I went into the event a bit groggy from the previous #bmxday jam, but my goal was to get a behind the scenes look at what was going through the rider’s minds before, during, and a bit after the event, as well… Enjoy!
