Product: Sunday Bikes – Street Sweeper Tires

April 7, 2016

On the hunt for some new BMX tires? Well, you’re in luck because the new Jake Seeley signature Street Sweeper tires from Sunday Bikes have arrived. These tires feature a directional tread pattern that utilizes a dual rubber compound designed specifically for those of you who like to grind. The center tread of the tire is smooth to help reduce rolling resistance, it’s also made from a softer durometer of rubber for increased grip. The sides of the tire feature offset grooves with a groove that runs around the entire tire which helps give you a little extra grab while turning. The sides of the tire feature a harder durometer that helps resist wear and tear from grinding, as well as allow you to grind a little smoother because that harder rubber isn’t as sticky. The tire is currently available in a 2.40″ size with black for the only color and a max PSI of 100. We have a feeling that we’ll be seeing more colors in the future since there was a sample of purple tires in Jake’s latest bike check.

The Street Sweeper tires are available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Sunday Bikes worldwide now, along with his new signature Street Sweeper 4-Piece bars!

Will purple become available in the future? We don’t have a definite answer on that one, but based off how good it looked on Jake’s latest bike check, we would be surprised if they don’t introduce a purple version. The real question is, what colors would you like to see these tires come in?

We want to hear from you! Let us know what you think in the comments below!
