Sebastian Keep Launches Tall Order BMX Brand

April 20, 2016

Here’s some news we didn’t see coming. Sebastian Keep has launched a new BMX brand called Tall Order that is just getting the wheels turning. Based off the press release, it looks like the brand will be geared toward transitions and ramp riding over the street riding trend we’ve seen a number of brands follow. There’s currently two frames listed on the website that will become available in November, and Sebastian has recruited Corey Bohan, Jack Clark, Oliver Jones, David Gilchrist, Matt Peter, Kaz Campbell and Kieren Riley to the team. This is just the start, so we’ll be expecting to see plenty more here soon. You can check out the full website here — TallOrderBMX.com

For some of you who are wondering, this does mean that Bas is no longer riding for Cult, which he is no longer listed on their website.

“I have spent the majority of my life travelling the world riding my bike and making friends along the way. I’ve been very lucky to have had a long career as a pro rider and here I am following my instincts and launching my own company.

We have seen riding naturally evolve with street becoming the predominant style of freestyle BMX, but for me although I enjoy riding street and using my pegs I have always had a bigger passion for riding transitions. Whether it’s indoors, outdoors, wood, dirt, cement or brick the feeling of trying to go faster, higher and land smoother has always been my thing… you like what you like I guess. For this reason tall order frames and parts will be designed and engineered specifically to be ridden at the highest level on transitions of all types and sizes.

I feel it’s important to support all elements of the bmx ecosystem so the plan is to sell tall order through a network of distributors and shops around the world as well as selling clothing and smaller items direct on my website.” – Sebastian Keep
