Check out the new Centric Pedals from Eclat…
The crew over at Eclat have released their new Centric Pedals for you to get your feet on. These pedals are made from injection molded nylon and fiberglass with a larger platform that removes the traditional 15mm pedal wrench slot between the pedal body and your crank arms, moving the pedals in closer while giving you a little more wiggle room. The body has a concave shape and plenty of reinforced molded pins for grip. Since there is no slot for a pedal wrench, the pedals are tightened with a 6mm allen key through the crank arm on the chromoly spindle, eliminating the need for a pedal wrench. Inside you can find loose ball bearings keeping the pedals spinning. The Centric pedals are available in Black only with a weight of 14.6 oz. (415 grams) through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Eclat worldwide now.

“This one has been in the works for a while. With many of the team enjoying the increased responsiveness and feel that a shorter crank arm offers, we looked into the possibility of also moving the pedal body closer to the bottom bracket to achieve a similar feel and advantage.
Our new Centric Pedal features an overall larger platform area which is then moved closer to the crank arm by removing the 15mm wrench flat. By doing this we are not only able to create a stronger pedal spindle, but also allow you a wider choice of foot positioning over a regular pedal. The Centric uses a narrow profile and unique shape with deeper pins making it super grippy and durable even after heavy grind wear. Already being ridden by Felix Prangenberg, Bruno Hoffmann and many of the PRO team, the Centric Pedal is arguably out best feeling pedal to date…
