Alex Hiam is no longer riding for Colony BMX.

Here’s another big sponsor announcement that we did NOT come seeing. The other day we found out Dennis Enarson made the switch to Odyssey after around 15 years with Demolition, now it looks like Alex Hiam has made the decision to move on from Colony after 15 years with the brand! It sounds like it was Alex’s decision to pursue some new opportunities after quite literally growing up riding for Colony. Check out what Colony and Alex both had to say about the news below. It sounds like it was all on good terms, so at least that’s a good thing. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we find out just what Alex’s next move is.

After a great 15 years of road trips, video parts and a lifetime of good memories. The day has come where our good friend @alexhiam is moving on from Colony. We all know AH is an incredible rider that blows minds every time he steps on a bike and will continue to do so for many years to come.

Knowing Alex since he was 12 years old we’d be lying if this wasn’t emotional. Ever since that fateful day at Kuraby, when we first saw him ride, it’s been amazing to be part of his growth into the man he is today.

Taking him on his first BMX road trips around Australia and further abroad with his first trip to the USA. There have been so many good experiences and memories made.

We truly wish nothing but the best for Alex in the future on and off the bike.” – Clint & Cooper
