Freedom BMX coming through with a fresh one from a trip some of the BNG BNG MCR crew took around Europe last summer! This is 8 minutes of good vibes from a whole bunch of spots from Germany to Portugal, Spain, Poland and more. Solid riding and good vibes (minus that super heavy slam) all throughout. Take a look!
“If you call the @kunstform BMX Shop & Mailorder in Stuttgart, there’s a good chance that Ole Peter will answer the other end of the line. In addition to customer advice and sales in the shop and answering e-mails, he is also responsible for the telephone hotline, among other things.
Last summer, however, the customers and his employer had to do without Oles for a while, because he traveled all over Europe by car with his homie Chris Smith from Manchester for several weeks.
This trip started with Chris driving his old Toyota Estima (Japanese import with right-hand drive and on-board computer entirely in Japanese) from Manchester to see Ole in Stuttgart. However, not without being stuck in Dover for four days because the French authorities did not want to let him on the ferry with his vaccination certificate.
After a short stay in Stuttgart, the two then drove to Lisbon via Geneva, Barcelona, Valencia and Màlaga. There Chris fell really hard (see 2:43). It could have ended really badly, but luckily he got away with abrasions and bruises. At least he was back on his BMX bike in Porto 2 days later and was still able to pull off some tricks.
On the way back there was a spontaneous change of plans, which included a detour to Warsaw, where a homie had invited them. So after a few days on the Portuguese Atlantic coast, our two heroes just drove straight through to Warsaw. Oof, way!
Of course, it would have made more sense to take the route the other way around, first to Warsaw and then to the west. Because in Spain it was so hot most of the day that you could hardly drive there. In Màlaga, the two of them slept in the Ruben Bowl parking lot and ended up sleeping under the car because it was the coolest there. And in Warsaw it was pretty cold again, which the two of them weren’t particularly well prepared for.
Apart from such little pleasures of the road trip life, Chris and Ole have met a lot of cool people on their trip, tried experimental sleeping places, seen a lot of cool nature and filmed a video of their adventures for the BNG BNG MCR from Manchester, which of course we don’t withhold from you want. movie off!
