Merritt have released a new Bike Check with Brandon Begin and his current Fit Begin setup that he’s running. The bike has some wear and tear, along with plenty of spray paint, but overall it looks to be a sturdy unit. One item in particular that stood out are the prototype cranks that Merritt are working on. Based off the photo, which you can find below, it looks to be a beefier 22mm crank that has square arms with rounded edges which is ideal for grinding. Not too much info on the cranks, but with Interbike about a month away and October being a popular month for brands to release new products, we would imagine more info on these isn’t too far out.
