Brian Tunney gives us a look at his July sessions!

It’s that time of the month (the 1st) for Brian Tunney to drop his monthly edit for us to check out! Here’s a look at what he got into during his flatland sessions in his garage over the course of July. It was a scorcher, but that didn’t keep Brian from getting it done. Take a look!

Due to July’s average temperature being somewhere between 98 and 102 degrees, I allowed myself to take it easy and not go crazy this month. Seriously, it was always too hot to ride. I made it happen regardless but no marathon sessions were happening. These were more like 20 minute bursts of energy that descended into an overheated sweaty mess in no time. On top of that, the GoPro heats up really quick and then shuts off without warning. So I have my reasons. As for the riding…

00:01 Seat pass hitchhiker juggler to one-hand juggler to Dave duster. This was nothing special, just me kicking off the month and trying to clear out the jugglers in a garage closet.
00:19 The first of many undertakers this month. The stalls wanted to happen so I went with it and stalled this into a rope-a-roni.
00:29 Seat pass juggler to one-hand juggler to another one-hand juggler. Again, clearing out the juggler closet this month.
00:43 I hadn’t done one of these in a few years and wanted to make sure I could still do it, without getting stuck on attempts for two hours. Undertaker to gerator to smith in about 15-20 minutes, in a Satriale’s t-shirt.
00:55 Seat pass juggler to invisible hand to steamroller to half hiker to one-hand juggler.
01:14 Undertaker stall to late barspin. I really wanted this to smith decade out, but I’m not really consistent at this late barpsin thing and needed to work on that first. It’s gonna happen, it might just take a few weeks.
01:24 Double seat pass juggler to opposite elbow glide. Nothing special, but still a challenge in a two-car garage.
01:40 Half lash to foot jam barspin to smith decade. Looks easy, but it took a while. Combining an undertake with this is going to take a lot of work and my brain wasn’t ready for it this month.
01:53 Half hiker to Dave duster to backwards hitchhiker. No notes!
02:16 Cancan to undertaker to late barspin. Still working on consistency with the late barspin so I figured I’d throw in some stuff at the beginning. I also like treating undertakers like they’re vert airs.

Soundtrack: Marriages, J. Robbins, Drive Like Jehu, The Replacements, The Garage Fan, Neighborhood Cicadas, Karate, Soulside

And now onto August. Not gonna lie: the heat has zapped my motivation and August might be a few tricks plus a bike check on the back brake bike. We’ll see how it goes though. As always, thanks for watching. Rest in peace Paul Reubens!” – Brian Tunney
