Although this year we weren’t able to make it out to Texas for the jam, we were fortunate enough to have our good friend Eddie Welsh out in Austin snapping photos for us! Simple – Ole Andre Kristiansen Summer Sessions

Today, we’re stoked to premiere something that is a little different than what we traditionally see these days. A lot of riders will spend their summer filming for a video, but not too often do we see a photographer and a rider team up to shoot photos over the course of a summer for one special feature. The other day, Niels at Simple Bike Co. hit us up asking if we would be into checking out some photos of their rider, Ole Andre Kristiansen, who we’ve known about for a while. What we didn’t expect was this dialed flipbook that documents Ole’s summer through the lens of Mads Oliver, all prepared and ready to check out! We couldn’t pass up showing you guys this one, so here we have it! Check out what Ole and Mads got into during their sessions around Bergen, Norway these past few months! Great stuff!

There’s no denying that BMX has an unlimited supply of creativity and originality coming from riders all around the world and that’s undoubtably one of the best things it has going for it. When it comes to actual BMX products, we see trends come and go and times where we’ll see a lot of creativity followed up a lot of clones trying to replicate the original ideas that worked. The Shadow Conspiracy have always tried to stick to the creative and original route whether it’s creating new products or improving on existing designs. Although the Penumbra seat has been apart of the the Shadow Conspiracy product line for a couple of years now, it’s still constantly changing and evolving with the creativity of their team and materials. With Shadow’s new 2015 signature series seats becoming available, we figured it would be a great time to take a closer look at what Simone Barraco, Scott Ditchburn, Albert Mercado, Ben Hucke and Drew Bezanson cooked up for their own spin on the seat this time around. Photogallery: 2014 TRA Double Cross

This past weekend, the Trail Riders of America hosted the Double Cross contest out in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where they invited out 26 riders to take part in the day filled with racing, tricks and good times. The concept was simple, put two riders head to head on a hybrid track that’s not only built for speed, but for tricks as well and see who can make it to the finish line first. We had our friend Eric Silver out at the event to shoot some photos and he came through with a ton of great shots featuring the likes of Chris Doyle, Van Homan, Brandon Dosch, Scotty Cranmer, Aaron Ross and many more that you can check out in our new photogallery!
