Haro Lisbon 2019

April 23, 2019

Here’s one we’ve been anticipating since we saw the team made the trip! Last month Haro dropped Ryan Nyquist, Mike Gray, Matthias Dandois, Dennis Enarson and Chad Kerley in Lisbon, Portugal to spend some time exploring the spots and stacking clips! Here’s the final result that turned out absolutely AMAZING. You already know when you mix a team like this with spots like what Lisbon has to offer, amazing things are going to happen. Add in that Doeby Huynh handled the filming and editing, and you know you have a BMX video you can’t miss! Check it out!

“In March of 2019 the Haro team traveled to Portugal to explore the cobblestone laced streets of Lisbon to find and ride all the hidden gems that this beautiful European city has to offer.

We would like to thank The Crew; Ryan Nyquist, Mike Gray, Matthias Dandois, Dennis Enarson and Chad Kerley for riding their hearts out every single day. Doeby for filming and editing the hell out of this project and also Robin Pearson and Hugo Almeida for being the best people, friends and guides we could ask for!

Fit Bike Co. – PVC Peg

April 23, 2019

Fit Bike Co. PVC Peg BMX

Anyone who has run metal pegs before ever trying plastic pegs has probably wondered if they could just slide a piece of PVC tubing over their peg to get the same effect. in fact it’s been done a time or two. Fit Bike Co. have released their new PVC Peg that looks like a makeshift PVC slip on cover, but uses normal plastic sleeves. The PVC peg has a lightweight 4130 alloy steel core insert with an injection molded, plastic polymer sleeve. The peg has 14mm axle holes, but comes with an adaptor to fit 3/8″ axles as well. Also, if you have ever ran into the issue where you could barely fit a socket into the peg, you’ll be happy to know these fit 17mm and 19mm sockets no problem.

You can pick the PVC peg up in Black and White colors with a 4.5″ length and a price tag of $10.99 each with replacement sleeves available for $6.00 each as well through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Fit Bike Co. worldwide now.

In The Cut – Uncovered BMX Tokyo

April 23, 2019

The Uncovered BMX contest series rolled through Tokyo, Japan the other weekend and, as expected, the contest went off with a bunch of Japan’s locals turning out to throw down. Here’s a raw cut DIG put together from the contest filled with riding and a bunch of non-riding footage that’ll get you laughing. This looks like it was a super good time, so hit play and take it all in!

“For 2019, Van Homan and Brian Kachinsky brought their Uncovered Am contest across the Pacific to Murasaki Park in Tokyo, Japan. With Japanese local burger-slinger and park owner Bashi handling the mic, the stoke was high, and riders of all ages were killing it. When it was all over, Shota Higa took home first place mini jersey barrier trophy, and the coveted invite to Battle Of Hastings; congrats. Thanks to Source BMX, BSD, GT, FIT, and Odyssey for the support to help make this awesome day a reality.” – DIG
