Here’s a fresh challenge video from Scotty Cranmer to check out! This time around he has Matty Cranmer, Big Boy and Brooklyn going head to head in a scavenger hunt bike build challenge. This is exactly what the title says… Two of the guys hide the wheels, pedals and seat of the other persons bike, they time the person as they try to find the parts and build the bike back up, and then once they do a barspin does the timer stop! This is pretty entertaining, so hit play an take it all n!

“Scavenger Hunt Bike Build is a challenge between three friends that are BMX bike riders, each rider has to put on a blind fold while the other riders hide five of their bike parts. When the challenge begins the rider has to find his parts, build his bike, and then land a bearskin trick to complete the challenge! The rider with the shortest time will win the challenge and will receive 50 points towards the Scotty Cranmer Channel Challenge for the month of July!” – Scotty Cranmer

Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for working with the brand, creative, product and sales divisions of the company to develop and implement strategies, campaigns and assets that increase brand awareness, create a strong reputation, and ultimately drive sales growth. Day-to-day responsibilities will include planning, implementing, managing, and reporting on all marketing efforts for the company’s house brands.

Position Responsibilities
• Maintain an up-to-date marketing plan that promotes brand awareness and sales growth

• Implement and maintain marketing campaign release schedules

Education

Tom Weikert On Wethepeople + Bike Check

Tom Weikert is now doing it for Wethepeople over in Germany! We aren’t too familiar with Tom, but we would imagine if Wethepeople picked him up, he’s dialed on and off the bike! Here’s a few words direct from Wethepeople about the news…

“Today we are beyond excited to welcome fresh blood to the Wethepeople family. 18 year old Tom Weikert hails from the South of Germany and has been blowing minds just about every time he sets his feet on his pedals. Tom might not be a name you’re familiar with right now, but expect that to change from today.

We got the chance to hang with Tom a few times over the Summer, and after seeing just how hard he rides, combined with his positive and hard working attitude, it only made sense to bring him on board our international AM team. Tom just built up a brand new Dan Kruk BATTLESHIP setup and will be making the journey to Cologne next month to come stay with his homie Felix Prangenberg to start work on his first Wethepeople project. The “Us / Them” DVD from Ryan Howard and crew is available now!

Here’s some good news. The “Us / Them” video that Ryan Howard and the crews from Ohio and Michigan have been working on. The video features full parts from Jake Coulson, Jeff Milby, Matt Skaggs, Greg Goldberg, Devon Denham, Ryan Howard and Zack Gerber with a friend section and a section from the guys in Michigan for good measure.

You can pick up the video in two ways now. There’s the Digital Download for $10, or you can go with the DVD version for $20 that also comes with a Zine and a sitcker!

The video runs for 48 minutes and is bound to be awesome with a line up like that. Get on it!

Skatepark Life Hack – How To Dry A Wet Skatepark

Want to catch a session, but the park is wet and you don’t have anything to dry it up with?

Here’s a new one Brant Moore sent over with a tip that can make your life a little more dry. If you have ever gone to the skatepark or a spot to find a bunch of puddles from a storm that came through earlier, you know this can pretty much end the plans of riding. However, nature and science is on your side if you’re willing to put it a little work. In this video, Brant uses a towel to spread the puddles out, making it easier for the sun to evaporate the puddles than when it’s pooled up in a spot. You can use, well, really anything if it can spread the water around. Obviously a squeegee would be the best option, but not too many people roll around with one of those. Hit play to get some tips and then get to work so you can ride.

“If you’ve ever been rained out from riding a skatepark you know how frustrating it can be. There are actually a few things that can be done to help speed up the drying process.

In this video I cover a couple tips to help you dry out the skatepark and get a session in when you otherwise might not have been able to.”

Scotty Cranmer gives us a look at the metal roller obstacle they built for the Find Your Fight Jam!

Before Scotty Cranmer made the trip to Minneapolis for the X Games, he filmed this video with Big Boy and Matty Cranmer giving us a look at the crazy metal roller obstacle they built for the Find Your Fight Jam that’s coming up next week! We made rollers out of metal basement window guards and we had Matty and Big Boy get on their BMX bikes and test it out!
