It’s crazy how footage can go lost for so long… Andrew Schubert came across this BMX video featuring Isaac Barnes that was put together back in 2012, but didn’t find its way online until now! Isaac is a serious beast and this section is a clear reminder of that as he puts all four of his pegs to heavy use on every rail and ledge he came across!
Michal Smelko VX 2015
Michal Smelko had a bunch of leftover clips from the “Stay Out Here” video that Fernando GomarĂn Olaiz produced over the course of 2014 and 2015 from some time they spent filming in Los Angeles and Barcelona. Instead of letting the clips go to waste, this dialed BMX video came from the clips and we’re sure glad these didn’t go unseen. Hit play and watch Michal go to work!

Sneak Peek: S&M Bikes – Slide Pipe

Going into Interbike 2015, one thing we expected to see was brands coming up with their own version of portable rail to compete with the Subrosa Street Rail that was the only rail available and clearly selling quite well based off it making appearances all over the world…. But we didn’t see anything except a rail at the S&M Bikes suite that we assumed was just a Subrosa Street Rail somebody had brought along for good times… Turns out we should have been paying closer attention because it was a sample of the “Slide Pipe” that will be avaialble some time this month. The Slide Pipe is made right here in the U.S.A in the S&M Bikes warehouse with zinc tubing and is fully adjustable. It comes in at 8′ long with a 2.25″ diameter for the tubing and hinged legs to allow it to be set up on up and down ledges and stairs while keeping the legs flat. The legs also offer multiple heights from 12″ up to 21″ and the feet have a rubber base to keep it from slipping as well.
The rail will be available for $279.95 direct from the S&M Bikes webstore and BMX shops and mail-orders that carry S&M Bikes worldwide later this month. It sounds like they will also be offering some additional enhancements to offer a few other setup options as well further down the road.

Ray’s MTB “Odd Couple” 2015: Reed Boggs and Marcus Christopher
Yesterday we got a look at the 5th place video which featured Mitch Chubey and Nick Digeroloma, now today Ray’s MTB have released the 4th place video which features Reed Boggs and Marcus Christopher. The filming and editing is a little rough around the edges and the acting is… woof… but the riding is real good. Marcus Christopher might be a young gun, but he absolutely SHREDS on a BMX bike. Check it out!
“These kids have got some serious skill!
We let young Reed Boggs and Marcus Christopher play hooky from school to enter in our 72 hours film fest. Filmed and edited by Marcus’s classmates this video has the vibe of a laid back edit but the moves of big name PROS. It’s no wonder their last transfers tied for our BEST TRICK and $750 cash!.
