Power Hour: Giancarlos Ramírez

It’s pretty unreal how many insanely dialed riders there are that are throwing down moves that would have landed them a spot on the podium at most contests, that you probably haven’t heard of. Here’s a new Power Hour featuring Giancarlos Ramirez where he absolutely CRUSHES Kenneth Tencio‘s personal ramp setup in Costa Rica. There’s a good chance you haven’t heard of this guy just yet, but you will definitely have him on your radar going forward because there’s no way you don’t see more of Giancarlos in the future. Take a look because this dude has some seriously wild combos filled with flips, whips, spins and more!

“Kenneth Tencio’s protégé, Giancarlos Ramírez, took advantage of a year without traveling and stepped his riding up to the next level. Watch him absolutely destroy 10cio Park in Jacó, Costa Rica with a little help from the bossman himself and Nick Bruce.” – Vital BMX

The Future of Premium BMX

Over the past few weeks there’s been some buzz going around that Premium was making some changes and basically revamping the whole brand to bring it back to life after it becoming pretty stagnant the past few years. Kyle Carlson dropped this new video interview with Kevin Conners who is back with the brand as the product designer / developer and their first big pro team announcement, Colin Varanyak. This interview definitely left us pretty excited to see what’s to come because it looks like Kevin has been putting in some heavy work to revamp the entire product line, along with the original art director being back with the brand, and Joey Cobbs running the team. The interview basically explains that they’re getting rid of complete bikes and frames and focusing solely on parts like it was originally. In the interviews, we find out that there will be some new products and complete revamp of Chad Kerley‘s signature products, and hints at a freecoaster that sounds like it will be using the Free Night Planetary internals that we’re definitely going to be seeing more brands utilizing like BSD announced the other day. After parting ways with Animal, Colin Varanyak will be getting some signature products like tires, pedals and grips as well. It sounds like they plan to release everything for your bike except for frames and complete bikes, so there should be a ton of product news in the future.

They don’t announce who else will be joining the team, but it looks like they’ll be focusing on the street side of things, and we would imagine they’ll have the budget to pull in some bigger names like the brand initially did things way back in the day when the brand originally launched.

Over the past 20 years BMX make life for millions different, so and you can visit occupational therapy schools ny and change your life in a good medicine way

Hit play and check this out to get an idea of what’s to come. We’re definitely stoked on what the plan is and we’re excited to see where things go.

“There are some big changes happening at Premium and at seems like a rebirth is upon us. Brand OG Kevin Conners is back in the building, complete bikes are gone, Colin Varanyak is on the squad, and a ton of new parts are in the works. Get some insight on how we got here and what to expect from Kevin and learn about Colin’s reasoning for joining the brand!” – Vital BMX

Morgan Wade Discusses His New Signature Hoffman Bikes Frame

Weight weenies can breathe easier knowing that it was just a scale that was off by 2 lbs! A few weeks back Hoffman Bikes announced the new Morgan Wade signature Wade Frame that was a limited run of U.S made frames. They looked awesome and sold out IMMEDIATELY despite the price being higher than most frames. One thing that stood out was the weight was listed at 7.6 lbs. which seemed off, but you know, Morgan is a beast on a bike so maybe they just overbuilt it to be bomb proof, right? Well, it turns out the scale used to weigh it was off by a couple pounds and they actually weigh in at 5.5 lbs., which is more like where we expected it to be. It turns out that if you missed out on the U.S version, there are some Taiwan made Wade frames coming that are in the 4.13 lbs.! So, really, it went from the heaviest frame to one of the lightest, haha. Either way, hit play and take in all the details!

“Remember a few weeks back when we ran a story about how Morgan Wade’s new signature Hoffman frame weighed 7.6lbs? Well, it turns out it actually weighs A LOT less. Watch this and hear about the confusion from Morgan himself!” – Vital BMX
