The FSU Crew 2015 Mix

November 18, 2015

The FSU Crew hit us with a link to their latest BMX video featuring Bashie Bodilly, Andy Drysdale, Josh Carnell, Charlie Watson and Ollie Cronan getting down on different skateparks and street spots they had the opportunity to ride this past year during a few of their trips. There’s some real solid riding throughout and it looks like the whole crew had a really good time on their bikes this year. Hit play and take it all in.

“In 2015 we took 3 BMX trips.

The first was to Barcelona in March. Jack, Bashie and Andy went on this trip and it was sick. Weather was a little off at times and it’s safe to say we weren’t always feeling up for riding due to hangovers but nevertheless we got some good clips and had a sick time.

The second was to Devon in South England. Originally we had 4 people scheduled on this trip but but unfortunately some plans had to change and it ended up being just Jack and Charlie. We still got to see some great scenery and ride some cool places.

The third trip was the main one. In the beginning of October Jack, Ollie and Josh took a 10 day trip to Barcelona to get a last bit of summer. It was crazy. We rode all day everyday and went out partying every single night. We actually came back so tired feeling like we needed another holiday. But it was worth it.

This video is all 3 of those trips put together. Thanks to everyone on the trips, all the locals for showing us spots and being cool.

Simple Session 2016 Back To Saku Suurhall

November 18, 2015

simple-session-2016-saku-suurhall

There have been some rumors floating around the past few weeks about the future of Simple Session and if it was actually happening again. We’ve heard it wasn’t happening, we heard it was, we heard it was going to be at the new Simple Session facility they’re currently building and more. Although we haven’t heard anything definite as far as what the plan is for Simple Session 16, they did release this little teaser on Instagram today with the caption “@simplesession back to Saku #simplesession16 #teaser”, which we would assume means that one of BMX’s biggest contests is going down at the Saku Suurhall in Estonia once again. We’ll keep you posted when we get more information…

BMX needs more contests like this… It would have been such a bummer if it wasn’t going to happen again. Keep this fire burning.

Flatland Tricky How To App

November 18, 2015

A video posted by Thomas Noyer (@thomasnoyer) on Nov 15, 2015 at 2:20am PST

We’ve been seeing a lot of BMX video games and apps popping up lately, and it looks like Flatland is about to get their own. We just spotted this video over on Flat Matters‘ Facebook page and were blown away. Thomas Noyer posted this clip from a beta version of the Flatland Tricky App that was designed as a learning tool for tricks. You select the trick and a video game style rider performs the trick. You can go frame by frame, slow-mo and a number of other things to see how the trick is done, to help you learn it in real life on your bike. It’s not a game, but it looks like it has the potential to eventually be turned into that. Either way, It sounds like it will be available on iTunes in December with Android in early 2016. Check out the Flatland Tricky Facebook Page for more videos and photos from the app.
