Here’s a short but sweet one from a chill session a few friends got in at a park over there. Solid riding and a good vibe! Take a peek!
Here’s a look at the new Tony Neyer signature bars from Verde. These bars are made from multi-butted, 100% post-weld heat-treated 4130 chromoly with a 9″ rise, 29″ width, 12-degrees of backsweep, 1-degree of upsweep, a crossbar height of 6.65″ and a crossbar width of 8.25″. They’re available in chrome and black with a weight of 27.8 oz.

Little by little we’re getting a look at all the goodness Fly Bikes has been cooking up for their 2015 drop. Today they unveiled the 2015 Electron Complete bike that looks to have been given a big upgrade to full chromoly, higher quality parts and a clean flat black color! Full details below!
“Today were very excited to present to you the first look at our 2015 Electron Complete! For this year, we have made the Electron a 100% chromoly setup, upgraded it with all high end Flybikes and Trebol components just like our Neutron and Proton models and given it a new flat black color! The Electron is designed for the smaller riders with a 20.2” top tube length, 13.20” chain stay length, 25mm fork offset, medium 8.25” rise bars and a high top load stem that can be inverted for smaller riders. This bike also comes with our Manual brake lever, cable and new Manual Springhanger brakes which is not in the photo.
The 2015 Electron, along with our full range of 2015 products, will be available in October through all shops and mail-orders that carry Flybikes worldwide! ”

It’s a weird time for BMX with a lot of legendary guys most of us grew up idolizing are getting up there in age. Over the past few years, Brian Foster has been busy making the transition from professional rider to… real life. ESPN BMX dropped a column written by Brian about his transition and his future goals of earning a PHD in Physical Therapy that I think is pretty interesting, especially for some of us older guys who don’t get that opportunity to ride nearly as much thanks to the responsibilities of adulthood. The name Dr. Blue Falcon does sound pretty awesome though…

In an industry as small as BMX really is with dwindling advertising budgets thanks to sales numbers, countless social media outlets and virtually endless amounts of competition thanks to the accessibility of the internet, magazines (and really most forms of media) are becoming increasingly more difficult to sustain. Although the rumors that The Albion had been laid to rest after only 16 (amazing) issues have been floating around for a few months now, they have finally made it official on their Website with this message.
Although the magazine might be dead, the guys who were behind it are some of the most talented guys in the business and I know they will find their way into new opportunities. I mean, we already know George Marshall is with DIG… So expect good things still to come in the future from these guys under other outlets.
