“It’s hard to believe that despite so many talented riders living in and around England’s capital, Nike’s BaySixty6 remains the only covered skate park within two hours from London. Formally ‘Play Station Skatepark’ it was bought out by Nike Skateboarding two years ago and the gloomy, haggard park underwent a full refurbishment resulting in undoubtedly the best park to ever be built under a bridge…at least in the UK. BMX riders are only allowed to ride BaySixty6 twice a week, with one of those sessions being a shared (and usually packed) Sunday afternoon. The other is the now classic Tuesday ‘Bike Night’. There’s been some pretty wild color ways hitting BMX lately and it looks like the Merritt guys want to give this oil rubbed bronze color a go on their Inaugural top load stem. I wasn’t sure when I looked at it for the first time, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. Spotted on Can You Dig It!
