Here’s an interesting one I spotted over on The Merged that I’m surprised we haven’t seen until now. Vocal BMX have developed some bottom bracket spacers that feature a plastic insert that can be adjusted with three grub screws to adjust the amount of play your cranks have when it comes to spinning. A lot of people like to have their cranks stay in one spot for tailwhips and other tricks where the feet come off the pedals, and this looks like it should do the trick. This is available in a full bottom bracket kit for Mid and Spanish 19 or 22mm bottom brackets or you can just buy the washers in colors of black, white, red, blue, purple and light green. Here’s a look at the new Channel sprocket from Eclat. This sprocket is made from fully CNC machined 6061-T6 alloy with a heat-treated chromoly insert. This spline drive only sprocket features a thickness of 8mm and hollow spokes for additional weight savings. This sprocket is available in 19mm and 24mm versions with sizes of 23, 25, 26 and 28 tooth options, colors of black, gold and high polish and a weight of 2.80 – 3.50 oz. (depending on size and version). These are out now.
Going into this video that Epic TV sent over, I really didn’t know what to expect. The title made it sound pretty cheesy, but within the first few seconds I was already cracking up. Take a peek at Keelan Phillips and Mat Armstrong getting some riding in with some Discovery Channel commentary.
