Vans BMX Team Heads to Chile to Meet Up with Coco Zurita

Last month, some of the Vans team headed down to Chile to meet up with Coco Zurita to do a few demos, check out the parks and take in the sights! This video gives you a quick look at how the trip went. Looks like it was a hell of a good time to me!

“October, 2013. Coco Zurita and Vans Chile invited Colin Mackay, Dennis “DMC” McCoy and BMX team manager, Jerry Badders to Santiago for a weekend of BMX demo’s. First stop was the Betterland School, second stop was at the Vans Royal Side Stripe event at Parque Los Reyes, and the third stop was the Araucano Park. The boys were treated to beautiful weather, great food and a ton of BMX fans!

Nick Van Der Veen – Lights Out

Damn! Nick Van Der Veen met up with filmed Mike Askari at the 040 Skatepark for a little late night lights out session. In the hour they had to work with, Nicky came through with a ton of banger clips that you won’t want to miss! How the hell he does those knee foot jams is completely beyond me.

“This October I visited the Land of the Rising sun for 10 days for sightseeing, riding and FLATARK. I had an amazing time and during my stay we shot this edit. The spot where we filmed where Aoki Park in Tokyo and Sunse Park in Kobe. A special thanks to Kotaro Tanaka for being an awesome host and showing me around Tokyo!

Damn! This is badass. Turns out Chris Doyle has a cousin that kicks a lot of ass and even used to be a pro BMX rider! Check out this video Empire dropped from a trip down to Florida Chris took to hang out and ride with his cousin, Roger Sullivan, recently. So awesome.
