Here’s a throwback for you! Fit Bike Co. uploaded the full “Fit Puerto Rico” trip video from way back in 2004! This was a trip filmed when they had an absolute all star legend team that consisted of Van Homan, Chase Hawk, Edwin Delarosa, Mike Aitken, Brian Foster, Robbie Morales and Justin Inman. Hit play to check out the full 30 minute video that is filled with amazing riding, along with plenty of laughs and good times. If you have never seen this one, you cannot pass this one up!

GT – Albert Mercado “Utility Work”

It’s always rad seeing videos with a theme. GT Bicycles have released this new Albert Mercado where he goes to work on spots around San Diego, incorporating utility boxes into each line and setup. As always, Albert delivers with the good stuff, along with a few guest clips from the GT Team for good measure. Hit play because this is a real good watch!

Profile Racing – Gustavo Bala Loka Welcome Video

Profile Racing have added Gustavo Bala Loka to their team! Hit play to watch him absolutely CRUSH it on parks and dirt jumps, making it easy to see just why Profile picked him up. Gustavo has been making waves for a bit now, but it seems like this year has already been really going off for him. So expect to see plenty more of Gustavo in the future!

Bala loka was making his way up and down the East Coast via Brazil, The Wheelmill Welcome Jam, Woodward, etc..

A good portion of his clips circulating were simply him blasting at unreal height with the questions; where did the speed come from? How was getting that high, on that quarter, possible?

We were to rendezvous at Swampfest, to finally meet up as I’ve always felt strongly about knowing/connecting with the riders we support.

After finding an island of dry dirt in the swamp, I walked down to the street course, specifically the cereal bowl box, and witnessed, for the first time, first hand, Balaloka’s riding.

There, Anthony’s nebulous description made sense, instantly.

A ball of energy (that doesn’t recede), finesse, power, and style…
This narrative gives no justice.

It was a great weekend to catch up.

Lux BMX – Will Green Welcome Video

It’s pretty amazing how good the younger kids are getting at an earlier and earlier age. Lux BMX have added 10 year old shredder Will Green to their squad, and after seeing this video, it’s easy to see just why! This kid rips! Check it out!

Inspirational BMX Amputee – Bri Welch

Now this is really cool! Brant Moore released this documentary style video telling the story of Bri Welch is a not only a talented female rider, but she’s also an amputee! This video goes into her story a bit, along with a look at a custom shoe that will help her keep progressing and pushing things! It’s definitely amazing seeing somebody like Bri having a good time riding flatland! Check it out!

I saw Bri riding at the 2021 Nowear Cornhuckit event in Nebraska and immediately knew I wanted to tell some of her story through video. We did an interview that night and it just didn’t feel like enough. So over the months that followed Bri and her boyfriend Tony gathered video from the past as well as some new video to really bring things together.

We also were hoping to wait long enough to show a shoe that Vans was working on just for Bri. With the video of opening the new shoes then putting them on and riding in them, we get to the finished video you see today. As Kim Klisiak says in the video, Bri is an inspiration to us all and I hope that this video finds someone who may need it.

Inside Profile Racing – Machining The Big Boss

It’s always interesting seeing how parts are made! Profile Racing have been putting out quick videos showing how they make cranks, hubs, stems and more at their factory down in Florida! Here’s a video where they show the steps of how they make the big boss on their cranks (the part the spindle slides into). Despite it being just one part of the crank, it’s more steps than you might think! Take a look.
