At the end of last year, with the help of Nike 6.0, Unit 23’s Hall 2 was stripped out and rebuilt. This is Kriss Kyle’s first full edit from the new part of the park. Lux BMX Shop in Australia had Fly Bikes‘ Sergio Layos, Stefan Lantschner and Chris Finnigan stop by the shop to chill and cruise with the locals for a bit. The session at the skatepark got rained out, but it looks like they still managed to get a jam in the parking lot in.
Red Bull have decided to do the Backyard Digger again this year. Basically, this means that you can get Kye Forte and his crew to come through and either build you a fresh set of trails, or re-build your existing trails at Red Bull’s expense. Bits and pieces have been popping up about Ty Morrow being in pretty serious condition after a pretty heavy blow to his head while riding. I haven’t found any specifics besides word that he’s doing better than expected. Keep Ty in your thoughts! I’ll try and keep up with this as best as I can.
