Cult and Kings Ride Shop have teamed up once again for another collaboration frame colorway! This time around they have the Crew Frame and Shorty Frame available in the “Movement” colorway. Brant Moore hit us with a link to an interview he did with Joe Doherty to discuss what he’s been doing with The BMX In Our Blood Podcast, along with a bunch of questions to get to know Joe a little better since it’s a bit of a role reversal since Joe is usually the guy asking the questions. “The BMX In Our Blood took over the BMX podcast scene over a year ago and in that time, Joe Doherty has interviewed many many names in BMX both huge and small.
With that, I noticed that no one had interviewed Joe and naturally wanted to make it happen.

This past weekend at The Wheel Mill Next Generation Jam, I had the opportunity to make it happen. We talked about how the podcast has affected him as a person as well as his outlook on the value he tries to bring in doing it.

This hour went by so extremely fast and we had to get out to the jam, so its not as long as it could be; which only means there will be a follow up!“

There have always been talented riders popping up from Japan over the years, but it seems like the past few years it has blown up so much over there! Van Homan and Brian Kachinsky took their Uncovered BMX contest series on over to Tokyo to give the riders over there a shot at winning a trip to ride in this years Battle of Hastings contest, and it’s safe to say the riders turned up the heat and threw it down! Curious what video part had the most influence on Felix Prangenberg growing up? Here’s a video where Felix talks about the part and a look at the full section. With the way Felix rides, I don’t think I would have EVER guessed this part as the one he would pick. Not to say that it’s not one hell of a part from one of my personal favorite riders of all time, it’s just riding completely unlike the way Felix rides these days.
