One of our favorite things is when a photographer we’re not familiar with drops a few samples in our inbox to get a look at! Although we have seen Eddie Welsh‘s name pop up here and there over time, we had no idea that he was out there crushing it behind the lens. Needless to say, we were stoked on the samples he sent over and we decided there was no way we couldn’t do a photogallery! Once we got the photos he wanted to use, we were more than psyched to see what he was holding out. Check out the new photogallery featuring 17 of Eddie’s photos featuring the likes of Van Homan, Chris Doyle, Steven Mack, Josh Betley, Grant Germain, Jordan Hango, Jared Swafford, Matty Azquizap and more by hitting the link below!
The other day, our friend Ronny Skevis, hit us with a selection of photos from a trip to an island we had never heard of called Tinos Island that he took with Panagiotis Manaras last month. Now, we know about Panos and Ronny and how good they are on a bike and behind a camera, but we had no idea what this island was hiding for riding spots! After checking out the amazing photos, we quickly realized that this island is definitely an untapped gem. We asked Ronny if we could run the photos in a photogallery so you guys could get a look for yourselves and here it is! Definitely check this one out!
A few months ago I received a phone call from Panagiotis Manaras asking if I was available for a photoshoot for one of his current sponsors, Vodafone CU! Of course I gave him a positive response and after a few weeks we loaded up Panos’ 4×4 with his bike, his monkey scooter and some surfboards and we headed to the port for this island called Tinos in the Aegean sea!
My first thought was why would they send us to an island? And why that one specifically? Tinos is an island known for its religious tourism, there was some kind of a big tradition being held there August 15th where a lot of people go there to pray and practice one of the weirdest rituals… They kind of crawl on their knees on a carpet for 1 kilometer up to this temple dedicated to the Holy Mary and ask for forgiveness or just pray for blessing. Fortunately or unfortunately we were there during the first week of August so we didn’t really see it happen, although we spotted a few people practicing the knee bending rituals during our stay…
Anyways, I guess the reason they sent us there was that Tinos is a big island and it had a lot of possibilities to score some decent riding spots. With a bit of creativity and Panos’ riding skills, we managed to take more photos than expected. So here you can see some of the action that went down during our trip! I’ll try to explain everything through the images! – Ronny Skevis
This past weekend, the annual Vans Kill The Line contest went down at the Ruben Vigil, made the trip over and documented the weekend with his camera! We have a photogallery with 33 of his photos giving you a look at the riding and more from the weekend in our new photogallery! Hit the link below to take it in!
The other day Adam Frame hit us up with a handful of photos from this years NASS contest over in the U.K! The photos didn’t have a home so we decided instead of letting them go to waste that we would toss together a photogallery for you to check out giving you a look at some of the action that went down over the course of the weekend between the ramps and dirt. Adam came through with some really solid shots, so let’s take a look already!
It’s always awesome when photographers send through photos for us to check out. It’s even better when it’s a photographer we’ve had the chance to feature in the past and they send through a bunch of new photos that really show how much they have progressed as a photographer. We’ve featured Eric Silver’s photos on our site in the past, and they were some real good photos. Over the course of a year, Eric’s photo work has progressed a ton and it’s clear in the photos he sent us the other day. We couldn’t pass up showing you guys these photos, so check out this photogallery featuring the likes of CJ Carroll, Mike Fede, David Ferguson, Jordan Prince and RL Torres!
Our good friend and photographer, Nick Steben, has been spending his days in sunny Southern California cruising around to the endless spots with a ton of riders. As of late, Nick has had the chance to shoot with a ton of different riders from the U.S, U.K and Canada that were all spending some time there as well! As always, Nick sent through some dialed photos we just couldn’t pass up for a photogallery! Click the link below to check out the new photogallery featuring the likes of Chase Hawk, Gary Young, Bob Manchester, Matt Priest, Ben Wallace, Andrew Lazaruk, Johnny Elia, Erik Noonan, Joey Johnstone and Heath Pinter!
It had been a while since we had heard from our friend and photographer, Rich Maciver, until he had hit us up with a look at some of his most recent photo work he has been doing. Going through the photos featuring Andre Fowkes and Matti Hemmings along with some unique skatepark photos and a few photos from the different trips he has taken to Barcelona and Bangkok, we knew we had to run a fresh photogallery for you guys to check out! We’ve compiled 22 of the photos for you to check out by hitting that link below! Get to it!
