Dean Dickinson is throwing a benefit for Burnside Skatepark in Portland, Oregon on Saturday, January 9th. This event will feature some original art work that will be up for auction by guys like Mat Hoffman and Ben Hucke, live music, videos and more. It’s all going down at Kelly’s Olympian bar… Make sure you get to this one. All the money raised goes to the skatepark!

Dean’s Dirty 30 Pool Art Show: A Benefit for The Burnside Skatepark

The goal is to have over 30 different artists donate a piece to the cause and auction it off. The art show theme is empty pool skate/BMX art in the form of: photography, paintings, drawings, design, skateboard deck art, woodwork, pool buckets, concrete, and any other creative medium that represents pool riding. These pieces will be on display during the show and bid on throughout the night. Featuring original artwork by: Mat Hoffman, Jay Meer, Tim Kerr, Steve Olson, Salba, Ben Hucke, & more! There will also be live music performed by The Cry!, Piss Test, and The Lovesores, and an array of skate/BMX videos.

All the proceeds from this event will be donated to help keep Burnside ticking with lights and park modifications to accommodate the surrounding development. A suggested donation of $5 will be collected at the door, 21 & over. Lets help make sure one of the greatest DIY projects, in the skatepark capital of the world, stays afloat!”
