It looks like FISE has decided to make its way to North America. On September 3rd – 5th they will be throwing down in the Mile High city, Denver, Colorado and then on September 15th – 18th there will be another contest going down in Edmonton up in Canada. Get the full scoop below!

Joining a FISE World Stop as a rider is the perfect way to combine discoveries, fun and challenging competitions. You will also meet, ride and hangout with the world’s best riders. Challenge yourself for the overall ranking and attempt to win yourself some prize money. FISE events are always a great opportunity to get your name out, make new friends to extend your riding circles and maybe even meet the sponsor of your dreams.

At each stop of the FISE World Series we have competition classes for Amateurs, Pros and the ladies. FISE believes everyone should have a chance to compete not just a few exclusive Pros. The sport can only grow when everyone gets a chance to step up and show what they can do on the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup course. FISE is here to give you that chance in North America!

COMPETITION FORMAT
UCI BMX FREESTYLE PARK WORLD CUP
The competition is open to ALL riders wanting to join the FISE World Series. 2 categories are available for amateur and professional for boys and girls. Each rider will have 2 runs of a minute in length. The semi-final is composed of the top 18 from qualification plus the top 5 from the previous FISE World stop and the winner of the FISE World Series from 2015.
The competitions will be organized into heats of 4 riders.
Then for the final the top 12 from the semis will battle for the first place! The final will be presented in the form of 4 heats of 3 riders.
In addition, we will be having a best trick contest. Each rider will be allowed 3 tries to get the crowd to go nuts and impress the judges.
PRIZE MONEY
Payout will go from 1st down to 12th place. Riders could win from $550usd all the way up to $9000usd.
The winner of the best tricks contest will receive $1100usd.
What will the judges be looking for?
They are focused on the amplitude of the rider, their flow, style and overall riding. Use of the whole park, versatility, difficulty of tricks and technicality are also important.
