If you were considering picking up a new GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition, but you wanted to see how good the footage looked, this video that Lasko and JC Pieri worked on together should answer your questions. This video features all the different quality and frame rate settings outside of 1080p to see just how well it would work with some BMX riding. Looks damn good to me.

The World’s Most Versatile HD Camera…Think it. See it. Do it.
for this test I wanted to choose 4K and 2.7K made to see how the new formats via miniature camera. I did not choose the 1080p format because it is now classic HD.
Also I tested the 720p at 120fps to create slow motion.
mp4 the rush were treated with Mpeg Streamclip Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) / 720P.
then sequences 720 / 2.7 2.7 K & cin were shaped 24 fps. The sequences 4K & 4kcin have not been consistent. My time line editing is 720p 24fps by against the 4k, I left 12 or 15 fps with a calculation, the effect resembles a timelapse. Images are calibrated slightly because having filmed with camera RAW option protune we obtain a faithful native with a neutral color and low saturation. We can then post prod rebalance the general atmosphere to find the actual light shooting. a lil shot through basic warm magik bullet ..
For testing the 240fps I could not do it, because the camera has received the same day, I did not find this mode being protune in the options. This mode format does not appear when in PROTUNE. Now I know the handling, so I will test at 240fps in 720p in the next video …
PEACE
