The big one is that the camera now utilizes 4K at 60 frames per second and it can also film at 1080P at 240 frames per second for crispy slow motion shots. Add that capability in with their new GP1 chip that optimizes the capture for smoother stabilized footage and vastly improved image quality, which is a big improvement over the Hero 5. Add in that it’s waterproof up to 33 ft without a housing and you have a high quality, durable and affordable camera that you can take anywhere you go.
