The final bike in GT’s 2017 complete BMX bikes line, the Slammer, which was designed for the entry level with some more higher quality looks to it!
Slammer
– Colors: Satin Black, gloss translucent red, gloss translucent gold, black satin splatter
– GT Power Series Tubular chromoly 3-piece cranks
– Improved hub spec
– New topload stem
Satin black with the green tires and graphics.
The Satin black splatter looks so rad. Similar to Jason Phelan’s bike with the splatter. A lot of color that you might not notice from a distance, but up close it looks amazing.
Translucent red and gold.
Good look at the translucent red Slammer!
Overall, the Slammer is a solid entry level bike. We liked the color choices and how the bike looked overall. The goal of this bike was to have an excellent price point, but have it looks really good too… It’s safe to say they pulled it off with this bike.
So, that wraps up the 2016 GT Bicycles complete BMX bike range that was premiered this past weekend in New York. Big shout out to Ben Ward and all the people at GT Bicycles that made these bikes and event happen! Shout out to Ed Polio at 5050 Skatepark for letting GT use the place for the event, too!
All of the bikes you see here will be available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry GT Bicycles worldwide later this month!
