Check out what went down during the Wall of Death jam at the Hammer & Nails Fest!
This past weekend the Hammer & Nails Fest 2024 went down over in Germany. During the even they threw a jam on this crazy Wall of Death. Essentially a super narrow vert wall with a tight transition. Although the ramp was pretty hard to ride, these guys were able to throw down some crazy moves. Check out what went down in this video from Freedom BMX. There’s a second video you can check out from DIG below as well!
“Sending it in Cologne, Germany.
What a start! The first item on the program at the Hammer & Nails Fest 2024 was a best trick contest and a highest wall to fakie battle on the Wall of Death.
This was built especially for the event and, at 4.5 meters (including 3 m vertical), almost reached the ceiling of Hall 59 in Cologne. Here are the highlights!
RESULTS
Best Trick: Dan Lacey (Vertical Pegs to Fakie)
Highest Wall to Fakie: Sebastian Dreher
Camera: Marcus Brückner

“HERE WE GO! The first day of this year’s Hammer & Nails Fest and Monster Energy’s ‘Cash Up’ series is a wrap. Felix Prangenberg and the Cologne crew smashed it once again and despite the rainy weather outside, they made use of the excellent AHK Halle59 skatepark for their Wall Of Death jam. The jam was split into two parts – a Best Trick contest and a battle for Highest Wall Fakie. Shit got loose! See you for day 2.
Congrats to Dan Lacey who took the win in Best Trick and Sebastian Dreher in Highest Wall Fakie
Stay tuned to DIG for more updates from Hammer & Nails Fest and the Cash Up series.
