Anyone who has been riding for years remembers the Aspire video contests that Jim Rienstra was behind. After that, Jim kind of disappeared for a while and I remember hearing things about what he was up to. About 7 months ago, Jim started off on a trip to raise money for cancer research in memory of his father that passed away. So far, Jim has gone 5,600 miles out of his 15,000 mile trip from Minnesota all the way down to the tip of South America. Kare 11 News did a little follow up story with Jim to see how things are going.
