Can we just start out by saying that Cancer SUCKS! Unfortunately Matt Barchus‘s brain tumor is growing and it doesn’t sound too good for him. Matt’s friends and family are raising money to help cover the medical expenses that are ever mounting while Matt takes on this battle. So far they have raised over $17,000 for the $20,000 goal, so if you have some money to spare, visit the Fundraiser website to help Matt and his family out in this rough time. There’s also a big BMX jam planned for this Sunday, August 17th at the Heaven Skatepark in Hartford, Connecticut. Check out the flyer below for details.
“Matt was diagnosed with brain cancer in April 2014. This year, after a long battle, the tumor is growing again, and treatment options are exhausted. Please help his family pay for some of the growing medical bills incurred during a 5-week stay at the hospital, and for the physical/occupational/speech therapy program he is about to go into to help him be more independent before the end.
