The full “Brainstormed” DVD from Shook is now online…

Here’s some more gold from the Shook series for your viewing pleasure. This time around we get a look at the “Brainstormed” DVD that came out back in 2006. This one is split up into East Coast, West Coast and Down South, along with an Andrew Mick section and the “Grease Tour” section. This time around Chad Shackelford teamed up with Will Stroud to make this one, and it turned out damn amazing. Each of these videos formats get refined from the previous and it just keeps getting more amazing. Shout out to Ryan Howard for uploading this one.

Do you want to learn how to icepick grind on your bike? Here’s a new how to video that Trey Turner put together with some solid advice and plenty of great examples on how to get it done. This trick is one of those tricks that is difficult at the start, but over time gets a lot easier once you find your balance point and you can control it a little better. Not only that, but it’s a trick that can be taken to a lot of different setups from rails and ledges to quarterpipes and more. Take a peek, grab your bike and send a few.

The story of John Buultjens turned movie is now here…

If you keep up with the BMX news, you probably saw a while back that there was a full-length feature film being made that’s based off the life story of Haro‘s Brand Manager John Buultjens. The movie will be dropping soon, with some premieres already kicking off. Here’s a look at the trailer that gives you an idea of what’s to come. This trailer doesn’t give away a ton since John’s story is super deep and it’s a long road from when he was a kid on up to where he is today. Either way, we’re excited to see this one since it looks real solid.

Session Atlas is a super in-depth skatepark guide with high quality videos, photos and full details to really give you a good idea of what the park you’re looking at is all about. Scotty Cranmer decided it was time for the guys to take on another Fakie Challenge!

It’s been a little while since Scotty Cranmer has had the guys do a Fakie Challenge. Today he put Matty Cranmer, Big Boy, Cory Berglar, Vinny Mannino and the one and only Trey Jones to the test to see who can go the distance when it’s cold and windy out!

“We decided to have another BMX fakie challenge to test the riders ability at riding their bikes backwards! This challenge starts behind my bike shop and the goal is to see what BMX rider can make it the furthest around the shop without going forwards or putting a foot down! After each rider attempting on both the free coaster wheel and the cassette we decided to take challenge over to a grass hill and see which rider would make it the furthest down and that’s when things got crazy! After it was finished one rider became the fakie challenge champion!” – Scotty Cranmer
