“Anything Goes” with TJ Lavin and Forrest – Matt Beringer Interview

January 21, 2018

TJ Lavin and his buddy Forrest have a new podcast called “Anything Goes”… This time around they talk with Matt Beringer who discusses something private that he hasn’t let out to the public before.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gM0QsJcvwD8

It looks like TJ Lavin has kicked off another Podcast / interview style show to get to know different people a little better, this time with his buddy Forrest Griffin. This time around TJ and Forrest kick things off with a story about TJ getting into a heated moment at Starbucks for petting a dog. After that, he gets the one and only Matt Beringer to talk about BMX, working in his garage as a machinist making bar ends, and probably pretty surprisingly to 99% of you, coming out publicly about being gay to the BMX community. Matt has kept this part of his life to himself and out of BMX for many years with only his closest friends and family really knowing, and there’s nothing wrong with that. We’re stoked for Matt feeling like he’s in a good enough place to let everyone know. This one is just short of an hour, but it’s a really good watch!

Hell yeah, Matt! Stoked for you. Still one of the best to ride a BMX!

“This week, we have a very special guest with Matt Beringer. Matt is the most hardcore guy in BMX and isn’t afraid to speak his mind. Matt also reveals something about himself that very few people know. TJ also has a story about his morning at Starbucks.

As always, send in your questions to TJandForrest@gmail.com.“

A Session at Pennskate

January 20, 2018

Big Boy, Matty Cranmer and Trey Jones catch a session at Pennskate… Home of the Little Devil Bowl!

Here’s a fresh video Scotty Cranmer uploaded from a session that Big Boy, Matty Cranmer and Trey Jones caught with a couple others at the Pennskate park in Pennsylvania. This video gives you a look at what went down throughout the productive session filled with riding and questioning Big Boy’s t-shirt selection.

“Today the boys decided to head up to Penn Skate for Trey Jones last day in NJ! None of them have been to this skatepark before. The skatepark is a couple hours away from our house perfect for a day trip. The boys met up there with some old Incline Club locals for an awesome session. Matty and Big Boy were straight to work riding the street session. About five minutes into the session Big Boy releases his inner spirit animal for the day they sloth. There were no actual sloths in this video but in Big Boys head he was a sloth for the day. Then they hit the box jumps for bit, after that they rode the bowl to end off the session. Hope you guys enjoyed this video and thanks for watching!” – Scotty Cranmer
