Monster Energy – Toyota Triple Challenge: Anaheim Highlights

Last weekend was the first stop of the 2018 Toyota Triple Challenge and there was no shortage of madness!

The 2018 Toyota Triple Challenge kicked off last weekend in Anaheim, California and there was no shortage of riders that turned out to throw down! Here’s a highlight reel that gives you a full look at all of the bangers and worlds firsts that went down, and some of the heavy slams!

“Two big jumps. One run counts. Anyone can ride. That’s one hell of a recipe for progression…and a lot of disaster. In its second year, the Triple Challenge has gained incredible notoriety as one of the most progressive events in BMX. This three-stop dirt series takes place during select Monster Energy Supercross events and runs much the same as its Supercross counterpart. Here are the highlights from stop number one and we’ll see you guys in Glendale, Arizona, on January 26th for stop number two!

Mike Gray coming through with a banger for Haro Bikes!

It’s always a good day when Mike Gray has some fresh footage to check out. Haro just released Mike’s new 2018 video and it’s loaded with crazy riding from heavy roof drops and big gaps to crazy nose balance, grinds and freecoaster action. This has a pretty chill vibe rom the song selection, but don’t let that fool you. This is a must see BMX video that you won’t want to pass up!

“Mike Gray searched the streets from San Diego to Toronto looking for spots to film his unique blend of huge gaps and technical grind and manual combos. No roof, rail, ledge or bank is safe in this mind melting street edit. Morgan Long – “Birds Eye” Pro Part

Morgan Long coming through with a serious banger for his “Birds Eye” Pro part from Ride BMX!

You always know you’re in for a treat when Morgan Long has a new video to check out. For the past year he has spent his time exploring spots around Long Beach and Los Angeles stacking clips for this new Pro Part video from Ride BMX. Needless to say, Morgan absolutely crushed it with this one making for one hell of a watch from start to finish. Crazy riding, awesome spots and some dialed film work. This is a BMX video you won’t want to pass up!

“Morgan Long takes to the alleys and cuts of Long Beach and the greater LA area for what is surely his most heavy hitting video part to date. Being over a year in the making, Morgan was really able to craft a section that shows the intricacies and variety in his setup oriented brand of riding. Battle of Hastings – Best of 2017 Plaza Sessions

What happens when you drop some of the best street riders in the world on the Source Park plaza? Bangers!

The Source BMX crew went through all of their videos from the Battle of Hastings Plaza Edits and pulled out the best riding footage from each team and made one banger of a BMX video. This one features riding from Garrett Reynolds, Nathan Williams, Corey Martinez, Dennis Enarson, Chad Kerley, Ben Lewis, Kevin Peraza, Mike Escamilla, Dan Lacey, Van Homan, Broc Raiford, Travis Hughes, Boyd Hilder, Dan Paley, and more absolutely destroying the place. Yesterday Scotty Cranmer gave us the full tour of Ray’s MTB in Cleveland. Today, we get a look at the riding that Big Boy, Matty Cranmer, Ricky Hoffman, Dom Simoncini, Vinny Mannino, Cory Berglar and more got in during their time riding at Ray’s. Check it out! Looks like these guys had a blast!

“In this video we ride Ray’s mountain bike park in Cleveland Ohio! They have the biggest skate park that we have ever been to and is filled with so many different kinds of ramps! They also have an indoor bicycle obstacle course to ride through and all the guys were so excited to ride it! There are logs big rocks and random pieces of wood used to make the obstacle course! DIG connected with BSD’s Sar Levi to explore the spots that Israel has to offer…

It’s not every day that we see footage coming out of Israel, but when we do it’s always great. DIG teamed up with BSD‘s rider there, Sar Levi and a few friends for a trip to a few different cities around the country. During their trip, the crew came across a ton of great spots and didn’t appear to have too much trouble stacking clips. Check out this dialed video that came from the miles logged!

“The dream spots and guaranteed Middle-East sunshine lure many pros to Israel year after year. As a result, many of the best video parts include riding here. What remains quite under-the-radar though, is the local scene.

Last year we set out to catch a fairly routine trip with BSD’s Sar Levi and a few others including visiting Canadian rider Justin Hughes (WTP).. After working year-round, he and his friends book time off work to travel from their hometown – Tel Aviv – to Be’er Sheva, Arad, Eilat and Mitzpe Ramon.

In a country with mixed views in the press and a unique history, one thing we found stood out is that BMXers are BMXers wherever they’re from. We were warmly welcomed and these guys just want to ride their bikes.

Follow Sar Levi, Alon Kosoy, Justin Hughes and Boris Choumakov on a road trip around Israel.

Braden Beck is now doing it for the Macneil Pro team!

It has been a little while since we’ve heard some news from Macneil up in Canada, but they’re still kickin’! They recently bumped Braden Beck up to their Pro team and he went to work stacking clips for this new video! Braden is a grinding machine and is no stranger to putting together some ridiculous combos on ledges and rails with a little help from the freecoaster.
